sperm retention pain solution

Sir,
. I'm practicing self abstinence from 1month....when I become sexually arouses my penis become much harder and remain erect for quite long period.earlier I used to mastuburate but now following abstinence.The problem is that after getting sexually arused and don't ejaculating I feel some pain in penis and genital area.Although pain is bearable.My question is whether sperm retention for long time would be dangerous??? Or else I should ejaculate after heavy sex arousal.please reply me soon as I'm in great dilemma...I'm 22 year male...5"8' tall and 55 kg wt...
