My cat is coughing and swallowing/gulping hard sometimesHello - is there a doctor that can help my kitty?
She is 12 years old, shy, and has a hyperthyroid condition which she takes medicine for.
She recently began coughing in the nightime every week or so and it is not a hairball. It would wake her up from sleep and she would go to the other room and cough for a few minutes until it settled back down. Now we notice that she is gulping or swallowing harder from time to time and that she swallows more often than usual.
She was on Arnica recently, and I recently gave her Pulsatilla 6c. I am not certain, but I think her constitutional type is Pulsatilla or perhaps Silicea.
Thank you for any help.
