please help , urgent nee of help , disc prolapsed , back pain

hello sir ,
greetings to all .

here i m discussing the case of my father. he is having pain in his back since last 15 days, we have seen orthopaedic surgeon n physio as well , they have diagnosed chronic disc prolapsed/degeneration in L4-L5 vertebrae of back bone.
my father is a heart patient and diabetic as well.
he is suffering from severe back pain while he try to stand up and the pain goes down to both thighs till knees. pain starts from middle of the bone just above the hips and spreads both sides.
he is on pain killers and antibiotics , but relief remains till the effect of pain killers last , after that again same condition.

here it is woth mentioning tha he dont feel any pain while sitting or lying ..
pain starts only when he try to stand and when he walk, he cant stand straight due to pain.

please help me urgently
