Recovering from Ludwig's angina - mouth abscess

It is an abscess in the floor of the mouth. I have the abscess clear and I am healing but, I do have periodic night fever sweating. So, I know I am still fighting a recurring infection. The healing process is painful at times. This creates issues with eating. I have constant muscle cramps, originating from the left underside of my jaw. This is where the abscess is. The cramps, pull other muscle groups, which in turn pull other muscle groups. The radiate from my jaw, down my neck and to the top of the left side of my head. I also have some swelling in my tongue. This varies.
I would like a recommendation for the recurring infection, cramps and swelling. All advice is appreciated.
