New here...Lyme Nosode + other question

Hi, everyone... nice place you have here....

I live in Colorado in the U.S.A., and recently tested very positive for Lyme Disease.

I know there have been some success stories treating dogs and people here with Lyme or tick "nosodes", and I wonder if anyone out there is familiar with "nosodes". (A Lyme nosode would be a remedy made from the dead Lyme spirochete bacteria that cause Lyme Disease).

Also, I have heard of having a remedy made for yourself that is made from your own blood. Does anyone know what this type of remedy is called? I cannot research it because I do not know the name for it!

Thanks -

Tracy

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If the Lyme is caused by a spirochete then it is related to to the family of syphilis.

Personally I doubt this .

There is no remedy that is made from blood -- too complex a molecule.

Howver it is possible to have a remedy made up from a sample of your own blood by a reputable homeopathic firm- probably pricy - please post any results if you take this course!!!

AIM: Acute peripheral facial palsy due to neuroborreliosis is associated with a distal neuritis. In patients with Lyme disease the activity of antioxidant enzymes is decreased. With respect to the pathogenesis of neuroborreliosis, sera of children with acute peripheral facial palsy were investigated for autoantibodies against human manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD), which were suspected of raising the oxidative injury of infected tissues. METHODS: Sera of 20 children with acute peripheral palsy with neuroborreliosis, sera of 20 children with facial palsy without reference to Lyme disease and sera of 14 blood donors were tested for antibodies against human MnSOD using an ELISA. RESULTS: The concentrations of IgM autoantibodies to MnSOD of the children with neuroborreliosis were significantly increased, compared with the two control groups. CONCLUSIONS: We propose that the antibodies detected block the protective effects of MnSOD resulting in an increased oxidative inflammation.

Hi, walkin - I didn't see your post until today - don't know why I wasn't notified.....

Anyway, I talked to my ND and I can make my own "auto nosode" with my own blood. I did find some instructions on the web on how to do it for a 30C potency, and ran those by my ND, and he said to go for it. But, we both agreed that I would wait to take any until he and I talked about dosages, duration of use, etc. You have to be careful with any nosode.

I understand you can make a similar prep using your own urine. I will consider that, also.

I may not get to do this - long story but I lost my ND just recently, so I have no alternative doc at the moment. So, I'm kind of on my own...

And yes, Lyme is a close cousin to syphilis. And suspected of being sexually transmitted, as well. It is one tough bug to deal with, I can tell you that.

Thanks for your reply.
