razor burn

Hello. I shaved under my arms one week ago and still have razor burn. I usually do not shave so I understand it's irritated. I am wondering what I can do to get rid of it. It's not necessarily where the hair follicals are (irritated the skin next to it also when I shaved). Does arnica cream help? I have tried 3 different arnica creams for other health concerns and only 1 didn't give me a rash (Trameel). I don't want to use cordisone cream. I have tried aloe vera gel and that stung a little and didn't seem to help. I am currently taking pulsatilla 9C 3X a day under Dr supervision (my constitutional?). Any suggestions? Thanks!

The burning you experience after a week is an infection of the skin in your armpit for which you may have to use an antibiotic cream. Calendula cream may also help but at this stage of the infection the antibiotic cream is indicated.

Use a disinfectant like Detttol or Savlon before you do your next shave as this will keep the bacteria away.

You can also use a few drops of Johnson's Baby shampoo to keep underarm BO at bay. This is washed off during a shower when you can also use it for your hair.
