Unexpected and amazing effect of Sulphur

I took Sulphur 30C once in the morning on several occasions recently and got an amazing (and very strange) boost of self-confidence and feeling of well-being. Usually I am a total slug in the morning, playing host to numerous uncomfortable physical and mental symptoms.

I was taking Natrum Muriaticum on a regular basis to see if it would help and decided to try Sulphur. One dose of 30C upon rising out of bed and it was like shot in the arm, like a boost of adrenalin. Suddenly, I found myself playing basketball for the first time in years, accomplishing things in a fraction of the time it usually takes, not caring what other people thought about me etc. WOW. It was way strange. But I loved it.

Unfortunately it didn't last. I could feel the energy, optimism and self-confidence slowly drain out of me until by days end, it was pretty much gone.

This happened on several occasions, but not consistently every time I tried it. I haven't been able to figure out what went on. I'm female and all the books say there are no constitutional female sulphurs. My personality doesn't fit the profile of a sulphur (inspired genius) either.

Does anyone know why sulphur had such a remarkable effect on me? Please let me know the source (book, experience with homeopathy...) of your answer.

Thanks

You should read more widely
Pulsatilla is a "womans" remedy and is about 70-80% sulfur.

Also Sulpher is one of the most widespread and effective substances -- you could also vary the potency
