Strange throat problem

5. What exactly is happening ? About a week ago I developed a pain in my throat, not a bad pain, but like there's a dry patch on the back of my throat whenever I swallow+it burns when I swallow fruit or tea, a kind of sharp little pain when the food's going past it. Then a day later I came down with a throat infection which lasted about 5 days, was in bed with a blocked nose, sore throat, bloody phlegm etc, that's now gone but this throat problem remains. Today I looked closely at the back of my throat with a light and it looks like there could be a swelling on the back wall of my throat, directly behind the Uvula, but as it is directly behind the Uvula it's quite difficult to see if it is a swelling or not (maybe it could be a ridge in the bone of my throat wall?) but am worried it is a lump or if that's not a lump that there's a lump or sore, maybe somewhere which can't be seen by the naked eye, and worried it could be cancer or something else bad. I'm not a smoker but drink a fair bit when I'm out and this all blew up after a big house party a week and a half ago.

9. How do you feel ? worried about the strange sensation in my throat.
