Neurofibroma
One year ago I had a painless growth a little above anal opening towards right side. The surgeon diagnosed it as a neurofibroma and recommended removal. However, the growth vanished with 2 doses of Silicea 200. Now once again I am having the same problem at the same place but this time its growth is faster. Is there a permanent cure for this condition? Will it go away by Silicea this time also? If it doesn't subside with Silicea 200 what other remedy can I try?Sunny2222 on 2006-02-23

Dear Walkin, Dr. Deoshlok, Today after 15 days, I consulted a surgeon since the "neofibroma" had grown the size of a grape (almost 1.5 cm by 1 cm). He diagnosed it as an abcess which is pus-filled and suggeted draining it immediately. Do I go for surgical draining or wait for it to suppurate and open up on its own? What medication do I continue?

After 15 days of appearance of this 'neurofibroma" today I consulted a surgeon because with Silicea, it continued to grow and attained a size nearly 2 cm by 1.5 cm. The surgeon diagnosed it as a pus-filled abcess and suggested its draining surgically. Should I go for surgical draining or allow it to suppurate and open up on its own? Its becoming uncomfortable now while sitting and moving around.What medication do i continue with? Please advise

do not go at surgen wait my colic has prescribe the silicea ia right choice of medicine. go on continue autometically you will get the cure.

What happened to the neurofiroma problem? I am also having multiple neurofibroma near neck and on spine as well as warts. I am curious to know about the cure of these bignin tumors. i have been suggested surgery. let me know that the possibility of avoiding the surgery.
