mucous cyst

I have a cyst on the middle finger of my right hand just below the nail. It is particularly tender at the moment. I've had it for ages on and off. Generally it's OK until it gets bumped and bursts oozing clear jelly like matter. Sometimes it almost dries up after this other times it swells quickly. Is there an alternative to a surgical procedure?

Hepar sulph 200c...4 pills twice a day..until it starts oozing and then calc.sulph 30c..4 pills twice a day till healing is complete.

Repeat the same protocol if you get it next time. Most probably, you won't get it a third time.

I will try that and let you know the results. I notice that problems I have with my mouth and gums are always worse when my finger is tender. Is this imagination or is there a reason for it?

Can't say. When you report next time, tell all your problems. Meanwhile use the remedies suggested.
