Acne, Weight Gain, Constipation. Please Help.

Problems - Cystic Acne on face, weight gain, constipation without the use of probiotics/or digestive enzymes, seborrheic dermatitis, brain fog and fatigue.

I have PCOS and have been struggling with acne for 8-10 years. Saw palmetto worked for a few months in decreasing my acne but stopped after 4 months.
A homeopathic dr gave me PCO Px which also did the same thing.
I was taking a homeopathic medicine for 6 years for acne around my mouth but started causing horrible dandruff with the the PCO Px. I have never had a problem with my weight but for the first time I went from 125 pounds to 150. I have tried dieting an a vegetarian diet but nothing helps. I exercise daily but can't feel tired more easily now.

If I have acne on my cheeks, my chin and forehead are clear. If I have acne on my chin/forehead my cheeks are clear. If I have little to no acne my hair/scalp is very itchy. I'm taking Hydrastis Canadensis/Goldenseal 12C and Nitric Acid 12C at night and, 4 pills of Sepia 6C. Goldenseal/Nitric Acid were 2 ingredients in the botanic pills I was taking and Sepia helps bring cystic acne to a whitehead but does not prevents them. I heard about Lycopodium or Pustilla 200C to cure acne but I don't know how/what to take.

Acne is worse on jaw/forehead before my period. Acne clears up on the 2nd and 3rd day of my period. Acne is on my chin/cheeks/and lip line after my period.

Names of the mediactions I took before:
restorativeformulations: pco px

Please take Lycopodium 200 twice a day for 3 days and see how that affects over 15 days. Please stop all other homeopathic remedies.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

So basically 2 pills twice a day for 3 days and report after 15 days? Do you think it'll help with everything or just acne?

Well I know it hasn't been 15 days but I thought I should report. I took the doses 11/10-11/12 (3 days like you said.)
My acne is very painful. Red hard lumps sometimes in clusters. It's hurt to put cream on or yawn because it feels like my skin is ripping.

My acne is worst during/a few days before ovulation. There is pain in my ovaries during this time. I'm so bloated everyday I look pregnant. After eating a small meal I blow up and it's not gas but a swollen feeling. I have cravings for sweets and have a thick white coating on my tongue.

Please take Carbo Animalis 30 twice a day for 7 days.
kadwa 6 years ago
I've tried Carbo Veg 6C x 4 tablets a day for a week before with no change. I still feel no changes after the lycopodium. I think my acne and weight gain is related to my poly-cystic ovarian syndrome - mainly causing an estrogen and testosterone dominance.

I will get back to you one after I take the Carbo Animalis then.

Later you may take Lachesis 200 twice a day for 3 days and see how that affects over 15 days.
Be patient as chronic problems do take a long time sometimes. Please see whether you could have some help from fruit juices like pine apple, sweet lemon, apple etc. i think that fruit juices should benefit you. Also do breathing exercises for 15-30 minutes daily and regularly.

Carbos animalis for a week did nothing except cause headaches and extreme fatigue. Everyday I took it I could not get up I slept 12 hours and was still tired. My weight gain and acne is worst during ovulation.

Now, please take Lachesis 200 as suggested and report back.

I noticed increased acne on the cheeks after taking it. I got blood tests done and found out that I have high prolactin levels. It is causing weight gain, fatigue, and acne. Do you have anything that will lower prolactin levels?

I'd like to mention that I think it was vitex/chasteberry that caused this. I took it for 3 month and it helped my skin a little but then it stopped working all of a sudden and my acne got worse and I had problems with weight gain every since then. This was in april 2016 and I'm still having trouble with the weight gain/acne today. Do you know an antidote for vitex?

Please take Sulphur 200 in morning and Nux Vomica 200 in evening for 15 days.

I tried Calc Sulph before and it made my skin worse. I want to purchase everything to save shipping cost. Do you think PITUITARUM POSTERIUM could help too maybe? So I take that? I read about it and the symptoms match mine.
Even though my skin is slightly getting better my stomach is bloated/pregnant looking and my scalp always has dandruff and itches.

Sulph and Nux are different from Calc Sulph. i don't prescribe remedies like pituitarum!!
