4 yr old giving tough time eating

My 4 yr. old son is giving tough time in eating his meals. Even when he eats, his portion size is too little. He is still hungry and will then ask for snacks. He likes cheese, sometimes will have the yolk of a boiled egg, and if really in his mood, will have bread butter-jelly sandwich.
He hits us when he's hungry and does not want to eat what's being offered to him.
Otherwise he's an active kid, running around, playing games, coloring, cycling around the driveway.

Any recommendations on how we can increase his appetite and make him a happy eater.

Thank you,

Dear Vikas,

Could you share his other problems in details?

Thank you for your response.

The problem is that my son does not take proper meals. He only lives on Cheetos, cheese sandwich cookies, gold fish and other cookies. He does not eat solid foods, no vegetables, only banana in fruits.
No milk, only yolk in boiled egg, couple of times a week he would eat 3-4 chicken nuggets.
He has become picker by day. His portion sizes are very small. Since he does not eat full meals, he stays hungry and is cranky most of the time.

We would like him to take at least 1 proper meal day. He goes days without having any single decent meal.

Dear Vikas,
I would like to know his other problems if he has, like; constipation, sleepless, sweating, cold, cough etc.

ahh.. got it..

He does not have any specific problems. But occasionally (every couple of months), he does get constipated.

But he had to get ear tubes when he was 2. He had started his day-care and was getting recurring ear-infections.
Besides seasonal cold/cough he has stayed without any other issues.

Arsenicum Album 30C

Please take three doses. Just three doses. Not daily.
Report back in 15 days with changes observed.

Get the remedy in liquid:
Put five drop of the remedy in 20 ml of mineral water, hit the bottle atleast 6 time and keep it for 5 minutes. Take one tea spoon from it. That’s one dose. Do the same procedure for each dose.

First dose: At night before sleeping.
Second dose: 12 hrs after the first dose.
Third dose: 12 hrs after the second dose.
Don’t take any more dose or any other remedy unless I tell you.

If there is significant worsening of symptoms (called homeopathic aggravation) after the first dose, then don’t take the second dose.
Don’t take any other homeopathic remedy during this treatment.
Give a break of at least 10 minutes before eating/drinking anything before or after taking the remedy.
During the treatment, don’t eat anything which you have never had all your life.

Sometimes the symptoms for which treatment is being done can worsen after taking the homeopathic remedy. This is homeopathic aggravation and a good sign. It usually dies down within 24-48 hrs. During this time you can use any non-medicinal means to keep yourself comfortable. If the aggravation seems excessive, you can use any & all means necessary (including taking allopathic medicines) to keep yourself comfortable. Keep your homeopath fully updated if this happens.

Thank you for your response.

Sorry, got delayed in posting my acknowledgment.

I read on Arsenicum, but could not understand the reason you suggested this. Can you please share why you think this medication would work in improving his diet and eating habits?

Thank you
