Having very tight calf muscles and burning at knees in morning

Hi,
I am 36 year old male.
For last 3 weeks I have been having very high burning in knees and my calf muscles are very tight. The knee burning has reduced a lot after having ayurvedic medicine Mienta(Aflatin 50 mg) for last 3 days, but morning in bed burning is still very high. Once I get out of bed burning reduces a lot. Calf muscles are still very tight. What homeopathic medicine can I use to relieve these problems of burning of the knees and tightness of calf muscles?

ANS. Calf muscles feeling tight and hurting slightly when walking.
Knees having burning when sleeping in bed with legs outstretched. This is for last 3 weeks

Prior to this, unsteadiness started on June 10 2016 and ear fullness and tinnitus started on July 28 2016.
Had food poisoning around May 25 2016(ate tofu cooked on friday on monday) and was not given any medicine by
doctors to cleanse the system though I repeatedly kept asking them for antibiotics to help treat it fast

b)What exactly do you feel, Sensation as pain, how pain feels or burn etc.
ANS. Burning in knees(underside and inner top corners - for right knee, left top corner and for left knee right top corner).

c)What are the factors that causes this trouble according to you.
ANS. Not sure. Always there. If legs are outstretched in bed, burning is more
d)Condition under which the complaint is reduced or you feel better like,cold or hot application,cold or hot weather,position as standing,walking,rest etc.
ANS. Always same

Unsteadiness - like being pulled in one direction
Tinnitus - always present especially in right ear

ANS. Food poisoning on May 25 2016.
Unsteadiness started on June 10 2016
Tinnitus and ear block on July 28 2016
Very high knee burning and calf extreme stiffness started 25 Dec 2016. Prior to that, slight pain in right knee
when climbing stairs started June 2015 and stiffness of calf muscles started Apr 2016, but it was very slight
h)Treatment method adopted and its result.
ANS. Advised not to strain knees, so avoided climbing stairs and running. Knee pain well under control,
but calf tightness existed. Since 25 Dec, this knee burning and calf muscle tightness are much higher.
Aflapin has reduced knee burning a lot, but calf muscle tightness still present.
For unsteadiness, vertin was used and had effect till July 28.
Tried Acid Salicylum for 1 month and Chini sulph for 1 month and had no effect on tinnitus or unsteadiness.
Not sure what homeopathic medicines were given for sleep, but it has not brought sleep back to normal.
Taking Vitamins(absolut 3g) and herbal medicine(cognix plus) for tinnitus and it has reduced tinnitus, but still not eliminated it.
Had Nootropil for 15 days which is supposed to increase oxygen supply to brain, but did not reduce unsteadiness. Only reduced blurring of vision to some extent
Still taking vertin, but has no effect on unsteadiness.
I think currently sulphur has been given for the pain, but does not seem to have much effect.

3. History of diseases in family.
ANS. Father and mother have blood pressure. Maternal grandmother had arthritis, paternal grandfather had diabetes

4. Personal History.
a)About childhood.
ANS. Normal middle class childhood with no major issues in school. No diseases encountered in childhood
b)Academic performance.
ANS. Good academic performance
c)Any major incidents in life and the effect of it on life.
ANS.
d)How you are satisfied with your sex life, friends, family members, company etc.
ANS. Very satisfied. Unmarried so no sex life

5. Habits/Addiction.

ANS. No

ANS. Happens 3 times a week, trying to bring down to once in 5 days by meditating. Have reduced porn watching
dramatically to less than once a week or once in 15 days

6. How is your Appetite and Thirst.
ANS. Appetite is good, but I never feel hungry, I always eat at fixed times(9 am, 2 pm, 5:30 pm and 9 pm).
Feel thirsty quite a few times. Drink 4 litres of water a day


7. Likes and Dislikes.

ANS. Chocolates, ice cream, Cheese. Like spicy food, but avoid it since it causes digestion issues.

ANS. Mostly no odour or discomfort. Mostly yellow colour in morning, clear after that

ANS. Most sleep nowadays is 11-3 or 11-4. Then sometimes I get back the sleep for about 1 hour.
So typically 11-3, 3:30 - 4:30, or 11-4. Not reaching 6 hours sleep which I used to get consistently
before Jun 2016.
Before June 2016, it was 11-3 and 3:30-5:30(full 6 hours consistently). Normally, I get sleep as soon as I lie down on the
bed
Position of sleep: body turned rightwards
Window is always open, fan needs to be there for sound also to mask the tinnitus. Was not required before
the tinnitus
Need cover for toes and feet especially. Sleep gets disturbed if toes and feet are exposed. Normally cover from toes
till neck for decent sleep.

13. Sweat
a)How much, what parts, staining, Odour.
ANS. Normal, mostly armpits and upper body, no special bad odour

14. Weather
a)Tolerance to heat and cold, dryness, humidity, weather changes, sun,
foggy weather, wind drafts, closed rooms, etc.
ANS. Was very tolerant to all weathers before june. Never had even a cold for almost 3 years. Get viral fever if I go out in
peak summer hot sun sometimes. But now, my nose feels blocked slightly all the time

15. Mental Status
a)The quality of the patient's life in relationship to loved ones, family, friends and colleagues. Overall quality of energy available to function in daily life, and under various circumstances.
ANS. Normal relationship.
b)Any mental/emotional shocks occurring in the patient's life-grief, major financial losses separation from loved ones, death, identity crisis and other stress in life.
ANS. Long back, had fear that I would become homeless or lose my job. But no such feelings now and am mentally very comfortable
c)Memory,ability to concentrate/comprehend.
ANS. Good memory and best ability to comprehend in my current work environment
d)Are you fearful of anything eg: Animals, people, being alone, darkness, death, disease, robbers, thunder, storm, high places.
ANS. Fearful of being crippled for life because of my problems. I do have fears of people in general and keep myself closed to most people except very few whom I trust
e)Are you anxious about anything: if yes, give details.
ANS. I am anxious currently about whether my long standing health problems will get resolved or not. My current main health
problems are unsteadiness(I always feel pulled in one direction(sometimes forwards, sometimes to the right), I have ear fullness and tinnitus in right ear
and my calf muscles feel very tight and burning in knees in the morning
f)Are you impatient.
ANS. No I am generally very patient
g)Are you doubtful or suspicious.
ANS. Yes, I do not trust people easily

ANS. If I am hurt by some person, it will cause hatred and desire for revenge on that person

ANS. Yes, especially if I am told to do something which I do not want to do or if I am blamed for something
which is not my mistake. Lot of times, at work I adjust for others to help complete the work,
but if things go wrong I get blamed and that time, I get hurt
j)Are you depressed, if so, reason/circumstances.
ANS. Frustrated that if I had had antibiotics after the food poisoning, things may have continued being normal instead of becoming chronic.
Angry at the doctors for not prescribing antibiotics for food poisoning though I asked them twice. Was present in a place where I cannot
get medicine without prescription and hence could not buy antibiotics myself by walking into a pharmacy
k)Do you like to share your problems.
ANS. Only to people I trust. I do not trust people easily
l)Effect of consolation.
ANS. Not much. I normally feel crippled if I cannot do things which I used to do and keep trying to be able to do
them

ANS. Not yet become suicidal, but wish that death comes via a fast heart attack rather than live with this daily trouble
n)Memory- quality if poor, for what ( eg. Names, places, people, what you read).
ANS. Good memory

ANS. I do not weep easily
p)Are you easily irritated. What makes you angry, how do you express it.
ANS. I get irritated less by things compared to other people. If I am angry, I avoid going the thing that makes me angry

ANS. No. I like to fix things and not break them
r)How good are you in making decisions.
ANS. Not too good. Known topics, I can decide, otherwise I am indecisive especially when doing something new involving money
s)Do you like company or like to remain alone.
ANS. Like being alone. Normally browse internet for solutions to issues which I cannot figure out or
t)How seriously are you affected by disorder and uncleanness in your surroundings.
ANS. Not much. I tolerate disorder. I try to be bit orderly compared to most people, but do not expect others to be orderly
u)How does failure appear to you?
ANS. Stepping stone to success. I consider failure as a learning experience, especially when it is something I do
myself without others having any stake. If others involved, I make clear that this is likely to fail and hence they
should not expect me to deliver successfully
v)Are there any matters that you deeply dislike?
ANS. I hate hypocrisy by people - especially people who expect me to maintain a high standard while they never do
the same for me. Noise disturbs me
w)What activities you deeply like? How does it affect your mood?
ANS. I like fixing mechanical things. Sometimes, when trying to fix things, I forget time and do it late in the
nights also. I also like quizzing and going around on my motorcycle. Now because of unsteadiness, I am not able
to ride my motorcycle and I feel very crippled because of the same. I like window shopping. When I fix something, I feel good.

ANS. Yes I am affectionate. Others sorrow makes me want to help them by reducing their workload

ANS. Fear of my health conditions not getting resolved, fear that my marriage will not happen because of this conditions and
fear that I cannot take care of my parents and I will lose my job because of this health conditions
z)Any present life or future life desires.
ANS. Desire to get married and live a normal life. Not very ambitious, just want to have a child and bring that child up properly and get them into a
job before I retire. Want to just reach a decent level at work which I can reach without much strain, do not want to reach top level at work.

take CHELIDONIUM MAJUS 30c liquid, 2 drops in a tablespoon water, 3 times a day for 2 days,

{if buying pills then 3 pills, 3 times 2 days, chew it, do not swallow with water}

do not eat or drink anything 30 minutes before and after medicine,

REPORT FOLLOWING AFTER 15 DAYS

Dashmularishta 25ml dissolved in 25ml water, to be taken after breakfast.

Sir, had one dose of chelidonium last night. Seems to have aggravated the symptoms. Had only 3 hours of sleep and my knee burning and pain in calf is the highest it has ever been till now

no problem, aggravation is good sign in homeopathy.

complete the dosage but if you find burning is been increasing then dont take further dose.

I am wondering if it is due to reaction with existing homeopathy medicines which I had mentioned. Should I stop for some days all the medicine and then try this?

stop all other homeopathic medicines.

after 4 days.

hi, I went to orthopaedic on saturday. He said tightness of calf is because of spine compression and advised 2 days complete bed rest and using lumbar support belt. After resting on sunday and monday, I felt very less burning on knee underside today morning and my left knee is not burning today. There is some tightness still while walking, but much less than earlier. My right knee which has chondromalacia patella has slight pain while walking. I will be completing the chelidonium majus course today(had 3 doses yesterday and 2 today till now). Will update on further symptoms

Pls find the update after almost 2 weeks:

Calf tightness and burning: still present, but much less than earlier. It had gone down after the bed rest of 2 weeks back. Last two days it has been a bit more. So I am trying to take bed rest again
Sleep: slight improvement. Getting almost 5 hrs consistently for last 1 week. Getting it in 2 bits of 4 hours and 1 hour. The second bit takes some time to happen after the first bit(sometimes 1 - 1.5 hours I am awake before getting sleep again after the first bit of 4 hours)
Digestion: better. Motion only once a day most of the time
Unsteadiness: same. No change
Ear fullness and tinnitus: same. No change.
Self control: little better. frequency of masturbation reduced
Confidence: Still same, no change. need some improvement in unsteadiness and sleep for confidence to improve
Energy on waking up: slightly better since sleep has slightly improved

Am having the following ayurvedic medicines:

a) Maharasanadi Kashaya
b) Kanchanara guggulu
c) Vatarakshaka yoga
d) Yogaraja vati

above 4 are supposedly for helping with the sciatica which is causing the burning of the knees and tightness of calf muscles

e) Ashwagandha - for sleep at bedtime with milk

Pls find update:
Last night(4 Feb), sleep was from 11:45 to 4:15 only
Went to bed at 10:45, but sleep came at 11:45 only. At 4:15 after sleep broke, it did not come back at all.

Please find updates:

sleep: between 4 - 4.5 hrs
dizziness: same, no change
tinnitus: same, no change
calf tightness: still same
knee underside burning: almost gone
back pain: still present. Avoiding sitting for long in one place and walk around every now and then
confidence: still poor
digestion: not so good. Having very loose motion and it is once a day, sometimes twice. Had fever thursday to sunday(23 to 26 Feb) since then it has been very loose motion. Had food poisoning on 16th Feb because of some prashad which was probably stale and that also contributed to digestive issues from 17th to 22nd.

ok take a red paper, put some red masoor dal grains(without cover) over it, sprinke some yellow turmeric powder over dal grains, keep this paper in south direction of your sleeping room, keep it untouched, whole process to be done on any tuesday evening within 48 minutes of sunset.

we will go only with diet, medical astrology and homeopathy.

Got the red masoor dal, but did not use it.

Got great sleep starting April 12 and that continued till last week.

Sciatica pain was very minimal till last week and right leg was completely free. Left leg was still having some minimal calf tightness

Since last two weeks, I am getting tingling in my left leg on underside of knee when I walk more than 100-200 m. Stops once I stop walking and rest.

For last one week, my calf muscles of both legs become very tight over the day. They are relaxed in the morning, but in evening they become very tight.

Ortho says tingling is next stage of disc damage and advises rest and if rest does not solve issue, then he is advising mri
