Hernia (right inguinal) for years, now piles and possible anal fissure/fistulaMale, (half European half Indian origin), 50 yo, vegan 21 years (mostly a raw food eater), no history of any serious illness. 5’7”, 58kg, bald and slim, heterosexual, single. Constitutional remedy arsenicum…
I have no pain from the hernia or anus. the hernia does send feeling of strain in the groin, but on a pr with anywhere that is being exercised, a slight feeling of it as fatigued. Generally, at the moment I am not very well focussed and find studying impossible. I sleep ok, waking halfway through the night for a pee (I drink lots of herbal teas during the day until late. I don’t drink alcohol nor smoke, and only have deaf, coffee and decaff tea.). I use no refined sugar at all.
Where each symptom is located :
I first got the hernia form cycling in 1996, it wasn’t until 2003 that through trying a few days of juicing only, did it go away. It was never strangulated but. reducible. In 2009 shortly after a general anaesthetic op. to repair a broken right wrist, it came back as it had been, and after 8 months, was acute and strangulating for nearly a week. I managed the problem with a truss and it went back to being reducible and has remained this was now for 7 years. Unfortunately trying to juice lots has never appealed to me and I haven’t got close enough to see it go like before, I just live with it. I do lots of exercise currently like never before and have never felt as fit or strong,
The haemorrhoids started to appear under a year ago. Previously there had been a scratch on the sphincter muscle that didn’t heal easily. I do spend too long on the toilet trying to eliminate everything, but it is not compacted stool constipation, perhaps more and obsession to removed everything I can form my colon, that has led me to put lots of strain into excretion. I often hold the hernia flat and push hard so as not to put stress on that area, after all the hernia is this colon protruding when not held in more.
What started it:
I think the strain put on my trying to eliminate as much as possible, to try to get rid of what I see as a bloated stomach, started the piles. Now these two tags are permanent although don’t cause pain or irritation. They probably have led to what I have yet the hospital to confirm might be an abscess or internal pile, or fissure scare or fistula around the outside of the anus which has changed from a pea size to elongated , then subsided 3 months ago and is now back,.
Your sleep pattern and details of any recurring dreams:
Once awake for a pee at night I get back to sleep mostly easily, but by proper waking time in the morning feel like I haven’t slept enough. Sometimes during the day I will feel really tired/wanting to just nod off.
What you are sensitive to (ie, heat, cold, touch, criticism, etc): criticism probably
Your state of mind (fears, anxieties, attitudes, moods, etc): Lack of work and associated anxiety, always looking for a job, never able to enjoy life properly.
Any desires or aversions for particular foods, and wether certain foods make you feel better or worse: Everything feels better when I adhere more exactly to a good food combination, cutting out sweet foods, certainly those that might be badly combined e.g. with starches, fats or protein.
Details of any major diseases suffered in past. n/a
Detals of any reactions to other medicines taken. I try never to take anything but natural cures.
History of homeopathic treatment if any. Occasional support caught. Have travelled with a kit e.g. with no vaccines to India in 2007 as was fine over the three weeks taking 5-6 remedies per day!
All other symptoms you have (ie watering eyes, cold feet, thirst): I have taken several years to treat with tea tree oil mix a toe nail infection which is well managed now but not completely gone, Cracked heels, I often have a drip on the end of my nose at all times of the year,

If this doesn't help take Graphites 30 twice a day for 5 days.
Sulphur 30 may be needed in future.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

I shall try Nux Vomica.
(Until now I had 4 days ago been taking Sulphur for two days, then changed to Lycopodium) I read online that Aesculus would be best. I'm unused to taking remedies, and forgot that I had to avoid any food or drink for 30 mins however, just 5 mins I thought. I had also had lots of garlic three days ago and the lump perhaps coincidentally reduced in size so much I thought it was the reason why.
Anther problem/symptom I have is that I live in a place which can get cold very quickly and there is a lot of moisture in the air. At night if I have not heated the room up sufficiently and also run a dehumidifier enough, I might get a couple of hours sleep and then wake up with a blocked nose- rhinitis. I can only then breath through my mouth, with difficulty and cannot sleep breathing like this, it is such a struggle I feel I am deprived of oxygen, until I can warm and the room and have drier air again, then the nasal passage becomes free again.
A couple of years ago I had very painful sinus problems of the nose, and had not realised the cause.
