Lycopodium for cough?
My homeopath prescribed my 1year old only lycopodium for her prolonged cough n flu.I cant find the relation of this remedy to stop the cough.
Im getting really concerned.
Pls advise.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Your homeopath probably thinks your child matches an overall picture of lycopodium and is basing the prescription on if overall health is boosted then the body will be strong enough to kick the problem out.
What is the potency and dosing of lycopodium? How long have you been giving the remedy? And what has been the effects so far?

Im supposed to gv her 2 drops every other day. I hv given her 3 doses and so far she's still coughing esp at night and dawn. But it has started to sound dry rather than the phlemy wet cough.
How long would it usually take to heal completely? Cant stand seeing her cough so badly. ;(

you can try taking 2 tabs of ferrum phos 6x and 2 tabs of kali mur 6x, 2tabs of cal phos 6x.
And dissolve in half cup of water.
Give the child a tsp or sip of that mix
Every hour for first day when awake.
Make a new mix each day. Day 2 give the tsp every couple hours .
Report on day 2 what effects are.
Stop lycopodium while doing this.
If there is thick yellow mucous you can add in nat sulph 6x to the mix.

Too bad i dont hv all those remedies, where i live remedies are only made by the homeopaths.
But maybe next time i gv her a visit i'll tell her the names you suggested.
As in right now she still has lots of thick greenish mucus and im just stopping the lyco for awhile to see if shes progressing.

What country are you?
thick green mucous indicates an infection-like sinus. One of the remedies for that is kali Bich in 30c.
You can order all these things online?
Unless Saudi Arabia etc.. and I am sure they are not making their own remedies.
I would need history of this to be more accurate. I always had a basic homeopathy kit when my kids were small- it comes with basic symptom advice and my md homeopath advised getting it , for all those times after hours when something was needed. That worked great for me.
Also I suggest you order by dr skye weintraub "natural healing with cell salts" amazon- it lists
Hundreds of detailed conditions , type of cough, flu etc and the salts -
If you or child starts to feel cold or flu,
