Learning homeopathy - time confusion

Hi, may i know the times when we say "night" and times when we say evening?

Evening is a part of the day. It starts around 6 PM and lasts until nighttime. Evening can be characterized by the Sun lowering towards the horizon, thus darkening in the sky
night the time between evening and morning; the time of darkness.
