Dear Sir, I had been suffering from pilesfor the last couple of years. Initially, the bleeding would occur on and off, but then it became routine.I was given HAEM and had it for a month or so.This reduced the iuncidence but did not cure it. Then earlier this year, I started a course of Biochemic combination 17, and after taking it for 3 months, as prescribed, the bleeding stopped. But this Sunday, I had an upset stomach and bleeding started again. Now i have been advised LACHESIS 200, every 2 hrs. Do you suffer from constipation and tend to strain to pass stool?
The bleeding is along with the stool or at the end of the stool in form of drops?
Is it reddish or blackish?
Is there any pain while or after passing stool?
Does it get worse on eating any particular food?
How is your water, vegetable, fruit intake?
Any exercise in your daily life?

How is your appetite, thirst, urination, perspiration, menstrual cycle, sleep etc.?
Any family history of a similiar complaint?

single medicine at a time is proper homeopathy.

If you are using hamamelis stick to it.Don't use any other medicine as long as you continue with it.

If relief is not obtained even after six doses,then it is not correct medicine.Change it based on the symptoms.

Pyeonia gives relief in most of the cases,if not cure,if you have tried all other medicines and the problem is still there.

1. my wife started with the problem of pilesafter 1 month of the second delivery. date first felt - 20th july 2004
2. as on date there is no bleeding, earlier it was there. the first passage of stool is extremely painful. even the passage of gas pains.
3. it pains a lot while she is sitting and feeding the baby. it does not pains while walking.
4. treatment taken -
(a) for 1 month allopathic medicine taken including pain killers and ointments like lignocaine gel.
(b) for 1 week aesculus 30 taken

5. there is no sign of relief till date.

I have had pilesfor about 10 years....esp after have 3 children. I will try to answer some of your questions...

I tend to suffer from constipation and tend to strain to pass stool. The bleeding is on and off. The bleeding occurs when I have a hard bowel movement. The bleeding is at the end of the bowel movement in form of drops and some on the end of bowel. It is reddish. There aren't any pain after passing stools. It is worse with foods that don't have fiber. My diet is horrible...not enough fruits and vegs...low liquid intake. I get a lot of gas/wind.. I feel better after relieving wind. My thirst is normal...sleeping is normal for a breastfeeding mom. Family history of piles. My uncle and aunt had surgery...my mom and aunt recently had a benign polyp removed. Recently in the last month....alot of stress in my life....my stools have been very loose. Is that due to stress? Pls advise

You can take NUX VOMICA 200C six pills morning and bedtime for seven days followd by SULPHUR 200C six pills morning and bedtime for seven days. Also HAMAMELLIS Q , twenty drops in a cup of water at bedtime for two weeks along with the pills.

I am 24 male. I have pilessince 2000. I have taken IRC treatment (Infrared treat) last week. But after that my pain has increased very much. I am not able to even sit or sleep comfortably. During stool and after stool it is paing viciously. Before IRC treatment though I had bleeding I was not in so much of pain. It is increasing as days are progressing.
