Remedy for Tongue Tie revision

My almost 5 week old baby will have a lip and tongue tie revision- clipping some extra skin that is causing feeding issues on the upper lip, and under the tongue.

What remedy/ remedies can I give before and after the procedure to help with the pain and healing?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Please give a single dose of Arnica 30 before the surgery. One dose is one spoon from a solution make by putting 2 drops / pills in a cup of water.

Thank you for the quick response. I am waiting for new Arnica 30 to arrive, and don't know if it will come by tomorrow morning.

I do have Arnica 200 from my birth. Can I somehow use that instead?

Yes, you can give Arnica 200. If you are breastfeeding the kid, take it yourself ... you don't need to give to him directly. Else, mix in milk and give.

How close to the procedure should I take it, so that it will make it into my milk supply?

Should I also take it after the procedure, or the following day?

Take one day before the prodedure. And keep taking once a day for one week post the procedure.
