Probable bacterial staph rash on face

My family doctor is not sure what the rash is and prescribed 1000mg. Keflex for 10 days as well as Clindamysin Phosphate topical solution 1%. The rash is not responding so far- it has been 4 days. I did feel sick like flu for last 2 days but feeling better. Because I am in 4th stage kidney failure I try to avoid antibiotics. My homeopathic Dr. Retired this last summer and does not have any successor. Please advise what is good to take for staph rash o. The face. It has not spread except on the face. Red spots with no pus, not itchy for the most part. Thank you so much for your kind attention.
