Male w/Rapid heartbeat

I am interested in hearing thoughts from homeopaths regarding remedy selection for a 61 yr old male with an intermittent rapid heartbeat that registered as high as 190 bpm recently. (He is wearing a monitor.) I am considering several remedies but would appreciate some expert input.

A few rubrics: He is avg height and thin. Hot-natured, must sleep with window open, likes fresh air. His favorite part about riding his motorcycle is the feel of the air on his nose.

Heartbeat is often irregular (a family trait; father died young of heart attack, brother has had heart ablation procedure).

He does not have heart pain when the rapid heartbeat incidences occur, but does experience "violently cold to the bone" feeling with high temperature, nausea, vomiting and "terrible headache, like withdrawl from coffee". Used word "pressure" several times to describe feelng in head and chest.

His most recent heart pulse issue (190 bpm) came on around midnight, after eating a huge meal of meat, starches, milk and ice cream. (He is lactose intolerant.)

His son committed suicide a few years ago and he feels incredible guilt over it, as they had just argued the day he killed himself.

His left upper lid seems to be dropping, which I don't think I have noticed before. I know him personally and know him as a very sweet, gentle, sensitive person. He says he has on occasion been very violent with someone that punched first him with no cause. He says he believes that he thinks more and deeper than most people, "can sense when someone is hurting or if they are a bad person".

He is happiest when flat-water-kayaking. Some favorite river spots are "like a cathedral" to him, sacred. He can't paddle while wearing this heart monitor and feels this lack of connection to paddling while wearing the monitor contributed to his recent rapid heartbeat that sent him to the ER.

In both work and recreation, he likes interval-type work, by which I mean hard work, rest, hard work, rest; and padding hard, taking a break onshore, paddling hard, taking a break onshore, etc. - whereas most of his paddling friends just want to go all out and keep paddling.

He is soft-spoken and in the 7-8 years I've known him, has always had a soft, but constant cough. Single quiet cough. He doesn't even seem to be aware of it.

I am not very experience prescribing for heart issues, so would appreciate input from experienced homeopaths on remedies to consider with supporting rationale.

Thank you so much. He and his wife are dear friends, just getting ready to retire and have so many travel plans. I need to get this prescription right!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Nux Vomica , Kali Carb and Causticum seem to be probable remedies here.
