3yo cough after the flu
Greetings.When my 3yo daughter started to sneeze, I gave her ferr phos 30 for 3 times in a day.
The next day as her sneezing got more frequent, and she developed a really runny nose, I gave nat mur 30, 3 times, for 2 days.
Now, the sneezing has reduced 90% but is replaced with a dry cough.
It is constant and irritating.
It seems to be worse when she’s lying down.
Her appetite is well, she’s always thirsty.
Mood is a bit lower than usual, but not cranky or weepy.
I haven’t given her any remedy yet.
I’d appreciate a guidance on the next remedy.. thank you.

Try kali phos 6x, mag phos6x, ferrum phos 6x.
You can mix 4 tabs each in a cup of water and give her sips every 2 hours. It is worse lying down as mucous is dripping down back there at sinus passage - drips faster in that position.

I think we posted at same time. Try what I said -
I had same cough after flu and what I posted stopped it- it is a drip
From back throat non stop. I took several remedies
And they did nothing-
You can also go to Ainsworths Remedy Finder
And put answers in under cough and see what comes up.

Give her Justicia Adhatoda Q 10 drops in lukewarm water of 20 ml 6 times daily for 2 days.

Didn’t realize your reply before, simone.. thank you for the guide.
I have the tissue salts, however since I have it already in liquid form, do you think I could just put some drops in her drink instead?
I’ve used the app earlier today and it suggested calc carb. I’ve made the globules for this but I wanted to make sure it’s the best remedy.
May I ask your thought on this?

Hi namn,
Yes you can put drops in her drink-cell salts.
You can try the Cal Carb- see if it does anything
After a couple hours. But I would then start the cell salts anyway-
For me - only the cell salts( mainly kali phos stopped it)
What dr B suggested is a interesting remedy-
As a mother tincture it is more like a herb
Tincture- I would try it. I ordered it myself but
In USA cannot get mother tincture - or low
X potency- I ordered 6c to have on hand. You can google Materia Medica of it- cough, hoarseness, etc.
You just want that drip to stop as it is extreme
And then keeps getting into the upper chest.
Once the drip stops or reduces the body has
The energy to heal .
