Edema, stiff toes left foot, pain in left knee disappeared with Dulcamara X30

1. Age,sex,weight,country,occupation.
53yo, female, legal translator

2. Main complaints and other associated troubles.
a)Where is the trouble; The exact locality of the complaint like hands, legs etc; duration of trouble.

My complaint is edema in left foot, but it's more severe in the toe region. I had some pain in my left knee, but it disappeared when I took Dulcamara X30 in the hospital (took without telling the doctors).

I came down with an extremely aggressive bout of pneumonia five months ago. Before the pneumonia I had a stomach flu and vomited for three weeks. The vomiting finally ceased and I grew immensely tired. Finally, I was too tired to get out of bed and could hardly summon breath to speak. My son noticed that my pupils were moving up and down erratically (vertical nystagmus) and that they weren’t pointing to what I was looking at. One night, the secretions of phlegm in my lungs induced sleep apnea so severe that I almost couldn't breathe. As a consequence, I was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. Upon admission, I was completely unconscious - not even responding to pain. My pupils barely moved when the doctors flashed a bright light into my irises. I remained completely unconscious for three weeks while in Intensive Care. After the third week, I’m told I occasionally smiled - but still didn’t respond to hand presses. Over the course of an additional two months, I gradually regained consciousness. After having been bed-ridden on fluids for two months almost (!) and then food for a month, a lot of muscle has atrophied. As of now (because of staff shortages, I received very little physiotherapy at hospital and was sat in a chair for 9-14 hours a day for 1 month!), I cannot walk nor fully bend my legs. The tendons in my legs have been foreshortened and have to be stretched. I have arthritis in my left knee and foot, but the doctors never noticed it. I have edema on my left foot - when someone presses their finger to my skin, it leaves a dent which persists for a while. I can stand up and I can move my arms and legs, but I can’t walk (but I'm told I will walk again). My speech is somewhat slurred after having been intubated in Intensive Care. In the morning I’m very stiff and can only move my legs in a jerky fashion.

d)Condition under which the complaint is reduced or you feel better like, cold or hot application, cold or hot weather, position as standing, walking, rest etc.

I feel better since I’ve started eating a lot more here at home and since I usually sleep well. I’m gaining nutrition. I feel better when I’m doing exercises. Also, I don’t feel cold the way I used to in the hospital.

e)Condition under which the complaint is increased like, cold or hot application, cold or hot weather, position as standing, walking, rest etc.

When I don’t get any exercise, like when I sleep or sit for long periods of time without exercising legs and feet.

3. History of diseases in family.
My Father had swollen feet when he was 83, and had already been diagnosed with prostate c*****. The doctors said it probably was arthritis but said they didn’t know. He didn’t get any medication, only was told to walk in soft sport shoes.

I love milk (I drink raw milk, unpasteurised, unhomogenised), don’t like the idea of eating mud or chalk. I like eggs, but since I was sick I haven’t eaten any. I’m thinking of eating them raw. I like spicy food and meat. I like fish and fruit and fried food. I like warm drinks. I don’t drink cold drinks really.
