Hair loss is still bothering me!

I started to lose hair from high school. Now that I have graduated from college, hair loss is still bothering me, but my parents are very hairy. Is this the result of genetic variation? What medicine should I take?
I saw a website that can do gene sequencing a few days ago. Can someone provide professional advice? by the way, the company is CD Genomics.
