Dragging his rear end on the floor is because of full anal sacs (a small sac located near the rectum that normally expresses itself during a bowel movement). But if he’s having soft stools or an allergy to his food this will not occur naturally. I would add about a tablespoon of pumpkin to each meal to increase his fiber. Make sure it’s 100% canned pumpkin without sugar. Licking the paws it also a sign of an allergy. I’m not sure what food you are feeding. But try one without grains and that has a novel protein like fish, turkey or rabbit.
