ischemic stroke recovery 77 yo male
thank you for reading.ischemic stroke patient. has been given 1 x aconite 30c and 5 days of arnica 30c, 2 times a day.
blood clot on left side, right side paralysis. speech effected.
patient goes between speaking clearly and then to mumbles. confused and disoriented. Can remember what he did for a living 20 years ago, but cannot remember his birthdate. Can remember falling over with the stroke and the ambulance, but gets his daughters names mixed up.
hiccoughs frequent.
tries to take off his compressions and get out of bed to go home. Hospital is putting him on a lower bed to avoid injury from his escapes.
Asks for his belongings to go home several times a day.
has eaten little when I feed him but tonight when the nurse fed him, he had a big appetite, possibly greater appetite at dinner time?
he is swearing often.
eyes can focus, but they seem to not look directly at the person or object.
possible hallucinations.
enjoys massage
intermittant snoring, not constant, one loud snore then just breathing.
thin, independent man who rarely needs/asks help from anyone. has a temper. is generous and always considerate and aware of others around him. Has suffered a lot of loss in his life, but remained strong. likes animals.

I understand where you were going with this now, have given for 2 days. Can only visit twice a day so will give for 4 days.
Hard to tell if helping as cant compare to normal recovery, so I read that causticum is good for right side paralysis, may follow up with that.

Answers below ones as well .........
A) constipation historxy. B) headache if any. C) must select one option, weakness or restlessness, which is more.
D) your detailed daily routine, like active or sadantry life style etc If possible hourly basis details required .. E) is it a reoccurring problems F) you were physically active or inactive just before this condition ? G) do you feel more thirsty or thirstless ? H) do you feel cold in body or hot mostly ?
