Remenant cough
Hi,Had cough, cold, sore throat some 3 weeks back. A course of Hepar Sulpher 200, Belladonna 30 for initial 4 days and then kali bichrom 30 for 5-6 days sorted pretty much the problem. However, since then there's bit of lingering cough. This is not a deep throaty, broncial type cough. It seems to be tiny (smaller than pea) sized clusters of phlegm that is perhaps scattered around the chest/wind-pipe, which I have an urge to clear from time-to-time. Colour of phlegm is light grayish to yellow-greenish. Sleeping underneath a fan (since it is sort of hot here, at around 40 deg C) seems to aggravate coughing. The need to cough to remove phlegm is more when I wake up in the morning, but for resto of the day too, there's periodic sensation of need to clear. What can I take to cure this ?
thanks,
BD

Try a single dose of Ammonium mur 200.

Had tried a single done of "Ammonium Mur 200" some around 8-9 days back. The next day I felt that the bits and pieces of phelgm has reduced, but the sensation to need to cough (somewhat violently), due to some sort of periodic irritation (when throat is very dry or you've been speaking for too long too loudly) has increased. Now after these many days, where I've not been taking any medication, that sensation seems to crop up 5-6 times a day, and subsides after some violent coughing. The phlegm that I emit, is now clear, but still somewhat clumpy and sticky -- mostly in the morning. Cold (dry AC air) seems to aggravate the coughing sensation. Sucking on cough-lozenges (honey-ginger cough drops like from Vicks or Dabur) helps a lot.
