Toddler tantrums

Hello all
Writing for my 18 month old son, who is active, likes to be outside. He weighs 12 kg, is very active and has around 12 teeth already.

After his 18 month vaccination, he has totally changed to a whining, crying baby, he used to be the opposite- happy n content always.

Now whenever we deny something( like a goggle, mobile or cream on table), he cries aloud and either bangs on the wall or throws himself on the floor. He will show these tantrums for 5-10 minutes before calming down.

This has become so habitual that I can't take him to a shop or to a relative"s home. I feel so sad when I fail to stop this. I feel I am a failure as a parent.

In addition to this, after the above said vaccination, he sleeps poorly. Turns to both sides restlessly, he tosses himself some ten times every minute. Weeps and startles in sleep. Wakes up seeming terrified, waking up is only 2-3 times a night.

Pls do suggest a remedy. Thanks in advance.
