14 year old facial palsy

A little over 14 years ago, I got shingles in my left ear, which caused very severe facial palsy. I had no use what so ever of the left side of my face, and I experienced tunnel vision, difficult hearing and vertigo. These symptoms lasted for about 9 months. In the first year and a half, I recovered about 75%. Currently my eye brow does not move, my eye waters (especially while I am eating), and I have just a slight smile (it is still very crooked). This came on 4 weeks after the birth of my 5th child and 2 weeks after the death of my father-in-law. I am certain it was the result of extreme stress. I was also told by a medical doctor that I have synkenesis in my left facial nerves and that is likely why my eye waters when I chew, there are mixed signals. I would love any suggestions. I have been researching, Aconite, Hypericum and Merc Sol. After 14 years, is there any hope for healing through homeopathy? And any recommendations on what path to take would be much appreciated.
