Running Nose

Hi,

Yesterday was in the sun for sometime, on coming home had a glass of cold fresh lime juice. By night had sneezing and running nose. Took Ferrum Phos 30X(Bio-chemic). Today morning got up with a headache, running nose and sneezing

Pls advise.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Your choice of the remedy is OK but I would have preferred the 6x potency which I have discovered is more effective to prevent a cold coming on.

Stay with the 30x if you do not have the lower potency and take is every 3 hours till the coryza passes.

If you discover the cold going down with phlegm into your throat and a hoarse feeling it is then time to take Bell 30c dose 2 pellets every 3 hours.

(1)using other medicines (for any other reason a all)--(2)no known exposure to toxic subatances--(3)not a continuation or recurring illness (4)history of SINUS INFECTION --or suspect of sinus envolvement (5) history of headaches (6) alcoholic (current or past)


if none above applies

then take single (2 pellets)dose nux vomica 200c before sleep --no repetition of dose..

stay away from acidic foods and drinks-coffee;tea;soda pops;fruits and such

unlikely nux-v will be benificial at this time-if havent taken already---best ride this episode out without meds..less becoems worse--then need retake case info--in current state..
