Difficult cough
Hi, I had a sore throat and took Ammonium Muriaticum 30c based on Remedy Finder but now I have a cough with clear slimy expectoration which makes me feel like choking as it is removed.I get aggravated from cold and feel better with warm drinks and warmer temperatures.Please kindly advise.

What kind of cough is it? Dry or wet with chest full of mucous?
What makes you feel better or worse when you cough?
Any specific time that your cough get worse?
Do you still have a sore throat?
How long do you have this condition? And how did it all start?
Are you thirsty or not?
Anything else or any other symptoms?

Thank you for your response.
It is a wet cough with a small amount of mucus from hawking that makes me choke and feel nausea as it comes up.
I cough more in the evening around 6pm.
The sore throat has subsided.
This cough has been intermittent my whole life. This specific episode has been 4 days. After every cold I get this cough that lasts a long time. It started in an airplane recently where I may have contracted it from something airborne. More previously when I was a child I was diagnosed with asthma but eventually my lungs healed on their own and the diagnoses was removed but coughing is a lingering symptom.
I have lost thirst.
No other symptoms

Also to prevent colds, take Brieger nosode 30c ( at first sign of cold or flu, 3 pills in total 6 hours apart) and it is available from Helios UK.

Update: Phosphorus 30c has been giving me aggravations. Less frequent coughing but when I do cough it is much louder and lasts longer. It is made worse in closed spaces with many people.
I also had urinary incontinence with coughing too but that is now more frequent but less amount after phosphorus 30c.
New symptoms:
I feel irritation in my left lung before coughing now.

Please take Pulsatila 30c twice a day for a few days and report back if you started to have any aggravations or new symptoms.
1 dose is 2 pills.

Pulsatilla has decreased the coughing intensity and my mood and energy levels have improved a lot. More frequent small amounts of mucus keeps coming but it is mostly clear now with a bit of yellow.
However, the incontinence has gotten much worse. Especially right after I take the dose.

Please stop Pulsatila for now and take Calcarea carbonica 30c twicce a day for a few days and see how you feel after that.

The coughing has subsided almost completely and the mucus is now clear and frothy.
Stress incontinence from coughing is still an issue.

Incontinence happens only when you cough or other times as well ?

Since when do you have the stress incontinence problem?
If it is chronic, meaning you have the problem for more than 3 months, please provide more details.

Ok, I actually had the incontinence a week before the cough now that I remember. Not chronic more than that.
