High cholesterol- please recommend a treatment
I am a 44 year old women who has high cholesterol for the past decade. My cholesterol is borderline high. I would like to lower my cholesterol levels within normal range. Please recommend a homeopathy treatment plan. My current results for cholesterol check are as follows:Total cholesterol: 243
HDL: 55
LDL: 165
Triglycerides: 116
Nature: anxious, stressed easily, worried
Other ailments: chilblains on hand and feet during winters, cold hands and feet
Pain in neck, occasional migraines.
Genetic: my dad had high cholesterol and had a cardiac arrest
I have Crataegus Oxy Q and Terminalia Arjuna on hand.

In homeopathy,we are concerned about your symptoms.So there is no such medicine in homeopathy which can directly minimise lipid levels.
But certainly you can get help from homeopathy on tatality of symptoms.

Dietary change is the most important in your case.
If you have already changed your diet, but still having high cholesterol, and the only way to control your cholesterol is by taking a medication, then you may try Cholesterinum 3x or 6x twice daily for some months.
You will also need a liver remedy, such as chelidonium or carrdus marianus Q to support the liver.

Hello Doctor,
I am located in USA and do not have homeopathic doctors available here. That is why I am reaching out to this forum for recommendation. I don’t want to move on to statins due to side effects.
Please let me know if there is a treatment plan that you can prescribe based on my lipid profile.

I am located in Scarborough, Maine USA.
As for my diet I normally eat oatmeal with fat free milk for breakfast, pasta or sandwich for lunch with grapes on the side, roti and dal or sabzi for dinner with yogurt on the side and a cup of green tea at bedtime.
I do realize that I had started eating pizza once a week and icecream for the past 6 months.
I plan to cut down on icecream and pizza. Otherwise, I am active as my job involves 3 hours of standing and walking each day.
What do you think of crateagus Oxy q and terminalia arjuna for my case?

Since your liver produces and clears cholesterol
In the body, I would first get your liver enzymes
Tested to see what is going on. That is the source
Of the issue.
After that, you could see what remedies could help.
You have at least two homeopaths in your town,
And some naturopaths. I also like Camden whole Health
Have sent people there in the past.
I would not self treat- there are various ways to
Help your liver, including herbs, acupuncture etc.
I would never use the statins.

You may try a natural way.
Cut 2 ladies finger in the middle. Then put it in a glass of water at night.
Then drink the water in empty stomach after awaking from bed in the morning.
Continue this.

I already had a complete comprehensive metabolic panel test done. My liver enzymes are in normal range.
Here are the results for the liver enzyme test:
AST: 22U/L
ALT: 21U/L
In this case, what would you recommend?
