remedy for tongue tie in infants
My 5 weeks old Grand daughter is diagnosed as having Tongue tie and has been operated by laser. But still she is having problems while feeding i.e. feed is of short durations of 1 or 2 minutes max. Doctor says with tongue tie indicates that the whole body becomes rigid. She is having Acid Reflux problem because of this. Will Calc. Flour 6x be helpful to her?Please help.

If you ask about nat.phos. ---three to five tablets can be dissolved in 150ml water bottle. From this solution half a tea spoon as a dose. Could be given twice a day---timing could be half an hour after feeding.

Hi Wheat-Allergic. I saw your subject and wanted to pop in and share my experience with this!
Both of my kids had tongue ties, and my daughter had a both a tongue and lip tie. This is typically associated with a genetic mutation called MTHFR.
Myself and my kids have it. While I do know that genetic mutations do not have much relevance when it comes to prescribing homeopathic remedies, they do have much relevance when it comes to diet and how our bodies metabolize nutrients and naturally detoxify.
Homeopathy is wonderful and helps tremendously, but it cannot change our genetic code, unfortunately.
May I ask how your granddaughter is being fed? Nursing, bottle feed, mothers milk, formula etc?
If nursing from mom then it is highly recommended that mom stops all consumption of cow- dairy products and wheat/gluten.
If formula fed, it is wise to switch to a goats milk formula, or a plant based milk, like a homemade Quinoa, or hemp milk formula.
Also remove any supplements containing FOLIC ACID (the synthetic and toxic form of vitamin B9). Watch for processed food that are enriched with this "vitamin" as well. It's highly toxic to MTHFR-mutations.
Folate is what mom needs, this is the natural form of B9... from dark green and leafy vegetables, lemon peel, and some melons.
Another thing that will help is something called Cranial Sacral Therapy. It's a type of massage performed on the muscles of the face and back of skull and neck to bring release to tight muscles and learn proper muscle memory.
When a baby has a tongue tie all of the muscles associated with movement of the tongue are extremely tight/tense and do not know how to move correctly. They have to be retrained.
Babies in the womb begin practicing the sucking motion around 20-28 weeks gestation, so she has had a miss-aligned muscle memory for a long time.
Babies with tongue tie have to work much harder to suck because of the muscle rigidity and become fatigued easily when feeding, hence her extremely short feeding sessions.
If she's recently had her laser frenectomy she has a release of her tongue and is suddenly able to increase her milk-intake by a lot more than she has been used to.
this can be a cause of "acid reflux" simply because she's getting a LOT of milk all at once with little effort, when prior to the procedure it was very little milk with tremendous effort.
I have always used homeopathy in my own life and for my kids and I would definitely recommend that you continue use, however diet and understanding of these things is also crucial, because if you keep aggravating the problem with toxic synthetic vitamins, inflammatory foods, and the like, then homeopathy will not be of much benefit anyways.

Thanks maheeru. Further, she has sleep problems. She is awake long time. Has short naps on shoulder i.e. she wants to be carried on the shoulder and walk around. She screams a lot and screams in sleep also. No deep sleep. Her whole face becomes red while crying. No cold / congestion of chest.
She had both Tongue tie and Lip tie.

Thanks a lot rom109 for your response explaining in detail. Baby is on mothers milk only. Mother is also on a strict diet regime. She was taking Curd which the doctor asked her to stop. She is not taking FOLIC acid.

Dear Maheeru,
Natrum Phos in dissolved water had a good effect. After 1st dose itself she slept well for 5 hours continuously. However, 6 hours after the 2nd dose, she is crying non-stop. She is constantly trying to pass gas/stool while feeding now. Constant arching and squirming. Please advise. Thank you.

i know this is a touchy subject around the world and I sincerely hope you can be open minded to hear this, I don’t want to offend you.
I would challenge you to ask for the package inserts for each injection given. Read thoroughly, especially the ingredients and listed potential side affects.
Especially important with the tongue tie indicating the MTHFR mutation, which means her body’s detox pathways could be restricted by 30-60%(depending on severity of mutation).
Vitamin K shot has polysorbate 80 ( a carcinogen) aluminum, and formaldehyde.
Other vaccines contain much the same plus broken fetal dna from humans and animals.
Please read the package inserts and side affects, especially if you don’t believe me.
Seek homeopathic detox for baby. <3

Dear Maheeru. As per advise I gave 2 doses of Lycopodium 200 with 1 month gap which worked well for the baby girl. Slowly her gas problems and sleep issues were resolved. I gave her 1 dose (1 tspoon) Sulphur 200c in water. And after a gap of some 40-50 days 1 dose of Calcarea Carb 30c which solved teething and sleep issues. This is an update so that others may also benefit.
