Hello Anuj,

Hope you're doing well. It took a while for me to purchase Pulsatilla because of lockdown situation, I was able give her last week for 3 days as per your suggestion (Wednesday to Friday) - below are my observations

Stool - still greasy and has become large and bulky. Normal consistency.Poops a lot for what she eats.

Thirst - less

Mood - ok

Urination - She seems to be bit hesitant to urinate and licking her urinary area. Evening Urine color seems brown. Since her puppy days, she was prone to urinary tract infection and was given antibiotics. Even last year she got treated for mild Uti because of stress related as we moved to a different state.

Thank you

PHOSPHOROUS 30 IS THE BEST SUITED THREE TIMES A DAY.

I HAVE ALSO CARRIED OUT repertorisation BASED ON YOUR DATA.

IN ADDITION GIVE NAT SULPH 6X THREE TIMES A DAY.

FEEDBACK AFTER 4 DAYS.

anuj srivastava 3 years ago
Hello Anuj,

I had both Phosphorous and Nat Sulph in hand and I have started her on those today.

Tonight just before going to bed, she was very uncomfortable and was squatting and straining. I immediately took her out and she only popped, but kept squatting. Not sure if this because of urinary tract infection, I have Uva Ursi and few cantharis pellets in hand, can I give those along with phosphorous or should I give anything else for immediate relief? not sure if it's an anal gland issue( hepar sulphur?)

I will try to take her to the vet as soon as I can, but wanted to check with you to see if I can give anything along with phosphorous.

Thank you very much.

Give cantharis and see.Apparently it appears that the expulsion power has been reduced. But you will have to get it diagnosed so a more suitable remedy can be given.

Does the u/m rubric match the symptoms.

Bladder; urination; retarded, must wait for urine to start; long while, and then only a little urine passes

Causticum 30 may be considered if the above rubric matches the symptom.

Hello Anuj,

As per your suggestion, gave our dog phos 30 c and Nat sulph for 3 days - Apr 27 , 28 and 29. And as i mentioned in my above reply, she was getting more reluctant to pee and immediately after her phos dosage, i gave 2 doses of Cantharis 30C on May 1st, that did not help her and I also ran out of Cantharis. And so, i gave 3 doses (one time for 3 days) of APIs 30C which i had in hand - Apr 2, 3, 4.

My observations -

1. Poop - The quantity has reduced and she is not pooping like an elephant. And less greasy and oily, still there, but gotten better.

2. Urine - Not sure how this UTI got triggered, along with the remedy, i was tricking her to dring more water( a bit of honey). After APIs she is peeing better and not hesitant.

3. Mood - This week she seems bit lethargic.

4. If i don't make her drink water, she is very much thirstless.

5. In our walks she is very keen on finding and very adamant to eat the weeds, Cleavers (Gallium Aparine),Parsley Piert (Aphanes arvensis), Sherardia arvensis and after some google search, looks like they could help with kidney, liver, lymphatic drainage, diuretic and urinary tract infections. Is this showing us anything ?

6. All good until today, but all of a sudden she was constipated yesterday and today had very loose stool. As per my notes the last time she has such loose stool was on Apr 20th. I gave her 2 doses of Ars 30 and that helped. Should i give her that again ? Also, her rectum this morning was bit dirty and had to clean it up though she was constipated yesterday. In full honesty, not sure if it was the honey or her kibble (1/2 that i fed her on May 5th) that triggered the loose stool today, she is usually on raw meat only diet. The kibble did not give any loose stool before.

7. As she is been dealing with digestion issues for a year now, has lost good amount of weight.Such stomach upsets make her weak.

THANK YOU

Give NUX VOM 30 THREE times a day for 3 days and see.

Then start CINA 30 three times a day.

Hello Sir,

I am bit panicked, i have finished the Nux Vom 30 C dosage for 3 days and today, she she seem to limp a lot on her rear right leg. It was there very slightly noticed for the past week or so whenever she got up from a position, but today as she woke up, she is just not putting the leg down.

This had happened before and the vet gave us a painkiller. And it seem to have come again.

I started her on Cina yesterday, 1st day. Poop is returning to normal.

Thanks

I have given Ruta 30 C a dose and waiting to see any results.

June 3 years ago
OK wait and watch.if no improvement, then give nux and cina and see.

anuj srivastava 3 years ago
Hello,

After 30 mins of giving Ruta, she was able to put down the leg and walk downstairs for her morning business. I saw she is struggling a bit to climb upstairs. I see that Ruta did help.

Should I continue with Ruta and Cina ? Finish Ruta and then Cina ? Is it ok to combine both ?

June 3 years ago
AS OF NOW GIVE RUTA FOR A DAY OR TWO,SINCE SHE IS SHOWING SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT.

START CINA AFTER THAT.

anuj srivastava 3 years ago
Hello Dr Anuj,

Reporting after Cina, no marked change. Her primary symptoms still seem to remain.

Primary symptoms -

1. Can eat only high protein diet. Stool well formed. But a bit of oily/greasy. Diet very low on fat and fiber
2. Cannot eat any starch, potatoes, brown rice etc, gives smelly, yellow soft poop.
3. Skin itchy and attracting fleas. I am trying as best i can with vacuuming the house and flea combing, still not able to help.
4. On and off dullness and lethargy

Secondary symptoms -

1. As mentioned above, sudden UTI (Canthris/Apis helped) and sudden stiffness/lameness(Arnica/Ruta helped) in her right leg.

2. Sudden abscess/boil - it got drained by applying a mixture of turmeric and milk

3. Appetite - herbaceous - looks for sticky weed/clover in her walks.Started adding a supplement with Milk Thistle, dandelion and clover

Though she is not diagnosed, her's could be irritable bowel syndrome/disease or issue with pancreas. I am adding digestive enzymes as suggested by the doctor for digestion. I want her to be able to handle good starch for energy. Protein diet is helping her gaining weigh slowly, but she seems bit lethargic.

Do you think, Psornium can be given to repel fleas ? I have Psornium 200c.

Thank you again for all the help.

June 3 years ago
Psorinum 30c.give one dose and see.

anuj srivastava 3 years ago
Thank you Anuj. I am understanding that Psornium is not something to be repeated often, I do not have 30c, is it ok to give 200c and wait and watch for a month?

June 3 years ago
YES GIVE 200 POTENCY.

anuj srivastava 3 years ago
Hello Anuj,

After giving a dose of Psornium 200c, our dog is itching less than before. We also treated the carpet with a spray that killed flea eggs, that may have also helped a bit. I am still seeing one or 2 fleas on her, but the itching has reduced a lot.

Now that the skin issues are under control, i wanted to get your advise on what should be her follow-up remedy for digestion issues. I will wait for another 2 weeks before i give anything.

Should i get Bacillinum 200C as you suggested before ? or Phosphorous or Sulphur. Her hunger in general increased and still not adding on weight. Another remedy that keeps coming in my search is Iodium ? With my analysis using the remedy app, i am seeing that phosphorous or Iodium or Sulphur that keeps showing up as #1 remedy. Would like to know your thoughts. And again, immense gratitude to you and to this forum for helping me.

June 3 years ago
Repeat Psorinum and give a feedback after 4 days.

anuj srivastava 3 years ago
Thank you very much for your quick reply. It's not yet been a month since i gave the last dose. Is it ok repeat to Psornium 200c before a month or should i wait ?

June 3 years ago
No issues. You can repeat every 4 days also.

anuj srivastava 3 years ago
Hello, I gave Psorinum 200c on 06/15. Observations below after the second dose -

Skin/Itching - reduced greatly, no fleas seen.

Mood - very lethargic, tired and wants to lie down. She seems very low on spirit. Slow walking, disinterested, apathetic

Poop - Very light colored for the past few days. She vomitted little bit of bile in the morning on 06/17, bile was very light in color as well. She needs digestive enzymes, still shiny, fatty poop. Copious and large

Noticing that her paws, her head region is hot/warm at random times during the day.

Appetite good.

I thought i will wait few more days to give the update, but as her energy seems low, i thought will send the quick update.

Thank you.
