Dog with rashes and swollen nipple.
Hello,My female dog , 7 yeas old has been itching herself on her paws and in between then , near her eyes and mouth area. Since a couple of days her ears and belly have tiny red eruptions , today her nipples are swollen and are saw some bloody pus discharge. She is fiery in nature , very playful , her body to some extent always remains warm , her urine and stools are normal. Please help , thank you

Hello , we have finished our 4 day course of medications. She is a lot better swelling in the nipples have reduced. Her ears are comparatively less red. Although she bites and chews on her paws a lot and have created fresh wounds ( hot spots ). Should we continue the medication?

We continued the medicines but no noticeable improvement after the first 4 days which I reported.. she has itched herself so much that there are scratch marks and fur loss ear still red and some parts of skin too.

Hello sir, she is still very itchy on somedays esp on her face ,ears and paws but she has lost a lot of weight in 2-3 weeks. And her right hind leg is also very painful, doesn't put pressure on it

Her itching has started again this time pretty intense with a lot of hot spots . Also I saw brownish black debris on her skin and on my other 4 dogs who have also started itching a lot. Looks like flea dust
What can I do about that ?

Is the itching due to ticks,fleas or skin infection?what is your observation and what has been observed by the vet?

Initially the vet said it's due to infection due to the monsoon season. Now the flea dust he suspects flea or tick bite allergy. And has asked to start a broad spectrum antibiotic with ivermectin doses for the 5 of them.
I think initially it was because of her cycle because soon after that her menstrual cycle started (not spayed neither matted) now all of them have started itching and presence of flea dust is eminent.

Unfortunately there is no treatment for fleas and ticks.
However give Sulphur 200 ones a day to all the pets.

How long should I give??and is there anything that can be applied topically to relive itchiness and prevent from future tick bite? Something that would repel ticks

I had taken both my dogs to a pet store for Spot-on flea treatment done by medicinal liquids.After the treatment the
ticks vanished.
As per the size of the dog they apply drops on the lumbar region.
You will have to discuss the issue with a vet or directly pet shop owners are applying it.
You can give them Sulphur 200 every three days and spray CALENDULA Q on the scratches It will act as a coolant and disinfectant and ensure rapid healing.
