Canine with seizures possibly from IVDD and elevated liver enzymes

Hello, I have a dog who is my dearest companion and is suffering from some recent health ailments I am frantically researching to help. She has two major things going on and many symptoms, the most emergent being seizures that have just recently started that I originally thought were blood sugar issues and am now realizing are most likely from spinal subluxations in her atlas/axis, T11&12 and her sacrum. They are now happening almost every time she is mobile and I have learned a lot as they have increased in frequency where I now run and reset her pelvis before and during every pee break or bowel movement which seems to prevent or lessen their frequency somewhat. The other issue we are dealing with is a lack of appetite and picky ess from a dog who has never been choosy and elevated ALP and ALT Levels as well as potassium and low amylase. I am thinking she has IVDD as she has been dealing with problems from an attack at her T11/12 and hind end weakness for years and so have her currently on phosphorus and rhus tox as well as high levels of CBD. I am wondering if anyone knows if symphytum in the homeopathic form is harmful to the liver as I know that you should not use the actual plant if you have liver disease or elevated enzymes , though comfrey/symphytum can be very effective for assisting the healing of bulging and disintegrating disks topically. This would just be messy and challenging as she is very furry. Any help is much appreciated, thanks and blessings in advance.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
ABSINTHIUM 30 three times a day.

Feedabck every 4 days.

Symphytum may be considered the orthopaedic specific of herbal medicine. "The roots of Comfrey stamped, and the juice drunk with wine, helpeth those that spit blood and healeth all inward wounds and burstings. The same bruised and laid to in manner of a plaister, doth heal all fresh and green wounds, and are so glutinative, that it will solder and glue together meat that is chopped in pieces, seething in a pot, and make it in one lump" (Gerarde).

In diluted form the above medicine will not harm the LIVER.

Thank you for your reply Anju. Can I ask do you know if absinthium is indicated when the seizure is caused by a physical trauma to the spine or recommend any other remedies you might know with this factor? Thank you as well for the comfrey info about the liver. I thought as much and have used homeopathy in my and my pets lives for decades but am feeling the need to be extremely careful with the panic I’m feeling from the state my dog is in right now and wanted to be sure as I’ve never thought of that aspect before now if would the liver be affected by it. I will read up on the absinthium and check in to feel if I get the internal go ahead and gut feeling that absinthium is what she’s needing. Many thanks💛

AS PER

by William BOERICKE, M.D.
ABSINTHIUM

Presents a perfect picture of epileptiform seizure produced by this drug. Nervous tremors precede attacks. Sudden and severe giddiness, delirium with hallucinations and loss of consciousness. Nervous excitement and sleeplessness. Cerebral irritation, hysterical and infantile spasms come within range of this remedy. Poisoning by mushrooms. Chorea. Tremor.

Other remedy you may like to try is Belladonna 30

I am now realizing after X-rays that the episodes are actually fainting and she is dealing with interstitial lung issues. Her main issue right now is lack of breath and I have been researching homeopathic remedies and have settled on beryllium. Any insight into this remedy or how I can get it in Canada? I am also researching the option of giving her serrapeptase and Nattokinase which are known to help with this condition as well. For now it pains me to see her struggle to breathe and I’m wondering if it could have been caused by using diotomaceous earth last year to treat fleas she contracted as well as living with a woodstove her whole life as our main heat source. Any thoughts are much appreciated.
