Stargardt Disease (Macular Degeneration)

Please Help!
Looking for remedies on this genetic disorder, which has affected my friend age 47. This started about 10 years ago which slowly started affecting his vision, now he cannot drive or read, this is affecting daily activities.

Please note this is not the same as Age related MD, there is no cure in allopathy, so wanted to try this route. Saw some posts on MD related to mental shock, not sure if it is relevant here, since this is genetic.
Any help or pointers are much appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Give Lycopodium 10M Single dose..

You should however mention patient's mental and physical symptoms. Everyone has his own thoughts, so remedy changes accordingly.

Thanks for your response. Can you share some sample questions to ask regarding the mental/physical symptoms? As I mentioned this has been ongoing for a few years now.

Thanks!

How does the patient feel ? What's is in his mind regarding his disease ? What is his likes and dislikes, aversion, When the disease or his suffering get aggravated ? When and how does he feel better ? How did the suffering get started? How did he come to know ? Sleep, thirst, weather he likes or dislikes etc etc.

Got below feedback from the patient:

>How does the patient feel?
This started ~10 years ago. Earlier, the issue was not able to see properly during night driving, which led to this disease finding.
Of course, when I found out about it, I did not feel good, but over a period of time, I have gotten used to it now and accepted it.
My doctor had said that every patient has different symptoms with this disease but in my case I am losing my straight vision and my periphery vision was still good. That was few years ago. Now I know that the straight vision is getting blurry slowly.

> What is his likes and dislikes, aversion, When the disease or his suffering get aggravated ?
I do not feel that this disease behaves differently for me during the day. In other words the disease does not get aggravated for me at different

> When and how does he feel better ?
No change in vision, has only been deteriorating.

> How did the suffering get started?
I found out about it when I started to have trouble during night time driving. Over a period of years, now I have trouble driving during the day time as well.

> Sleep, thirst, weather he likes or dislikes etc etc
No issues in sleep. I get good ~6-7 hours of sleep. In general I am not thirsty, so I do not drink that much water. Recently, I have made a habit to drink 4-5 glasses of water every day.. No special preference for any kind of weather.

Likes , dislikes , aversion to, Means what does he likes to do, to eat, cold, warm, heat, sun, company, solitude, fruits, or any strange things . Likewise about dislikes. What does he want to avoid ? What is his temperament, cold, warm, anger? What is his profession? Everyone has his own taste, thoughts, cravings, likes and dislikes and all these things decide the personality . Only on the basis of these things remedy can be individualised.
