Gastrointestinal issue
My father has been suffering from some kind of gastrointestinal infection for over a week now. He had nausea, loose motions (diarrhea), bloating, acidity and since he has ulcerative colitis, so naturally pain in his intestine (inflammation). He went to the doctor who prescribed him certain antibiotics (ciproxin) and also a steroid prednisolone. As far as his diarrhea is concerned he is better now, but there is so much gas, acidity, burping and continuous hiccups for more than three days now. He has taken the medicine prescribed by the doctor for three days, but now he is not taking any medicines. Prednisolone he has taken few years back also, it always causes him indigestion, restlessness and sometimes hiccups. But this time the condition has prolonged for too long. I am writing this message with a hope that I will find a solution to his problem here.Thank you
