Sciatica down left leg
I have painful sciatica in the base of my left buttock and back of left thigh after sitting on hard chair for too long.It has been there for a week.
Painful to lie on left side. It is constant pain either at base of buttock or above knee. Would hypericum and arnica help?

Thank you. I cannot get the liquid in England so can I take the hypericum pills instead?

Dear Anuj,
I have been taking the hypericum as directed and the symptoms are definitely improving. The pain is still there but less intense. Now a 3/10 rather than a 6/10. This pain is not from my spine/discs but started when I sat on a memory foam cushion for work that was too hard. For a week affer I had intense hamstring pain down both legs, and now I have this pain remaining.. The pain is still always there (sometimes in lower left buttock, or halfway down posterior thigh). But now a 3/10 rather than a 6/10. Please can you advise if I should continue the hypericum? And would arnica help healing? Not sure if I have irritated my nerves.
Thank you for your help. Sarah

Arnica will not do any good.Have Mag Phos 6x five tabs three times a day in addition and give a feedback after a week.

Hi, in England I can only get Mag Phos as a New Era tissue salt (no potency choice). Will this be ok please?

Go to Homeoforce.co.uk
You can order mag phos 6x and all other tissue salts in potency, plus remedies if needed.

All homeopathic meds come in different strengths/potencies. As a tissue salt Mag phos is 3x, 6x or 12x. This product you ordered will not list the potency and it combines the mag phos with biotin( part of B complex vitamin) if you can-cancel your order and get the 6x from Homeoforce Bc you really do not know what strength it is and it may be too little.

It says each tablet contains 0.07ug magnesium phosphate. If I cancel the order due to arrive tomorrow it will be 4 more days before the new product arrives because of the weekend.

Hi Anuj, no improvement yet - unfortunately yesterday things felt worse. I had previously posted “ Piriformis syndrome wallet neuropathy” but did this post because I didn’t get any replies, and on that post someone who experienced my symptoms took Aurum. Please can you let me know what you think?

Have you started Mag Phos?
stop Hypericum and start Colocynth 30 three times a day five drops in an ounce of water.
Feedback after 4 days.

Started mag phos yesterday morning. Will order colocynth 30.
Could I ask about the post who recommended Aurum metallicum 200 after having the same problem?
Very slight improvement with hypericum but never pain free.
It seemed to get worse on Friday night before starting the mag phos yesterday.
I have been in constant pain with this, can’t sleep, I can’t sit, pain is in my left buttock or half way down back of left thigh. It is affecting my mental health because it is affecting my life and family, work etc.

Hi, I have been taking the Colocythnis for 3 days as it took a while to arrive. I have had an MRI scan and have a definite diagnosis of bilateral proximal hamstring tendinopathy. Pain mainly still on the left side, bottom of buttock and referring down left thigh.
More painful with sitting, walking and lying in bed at night.
Not stiff when I get up. Gets worse not better with activity.
Eases off with reclining supported with heat under thighs.
Please can you let me know what to do.
Thanks,S
