Covishield Side Effects

My 71 years old father took first dose of covidshield on 16th April at around 4pm.

Since then he is suffering from side effect of vaccine. He had 99 fever on the same day. Next day too he had around 99 fever.

The next day fever disappeared so i thought side effect is over. But a day after (Monday) he again had fever 100. I gave paracetamol as instructed and fever disappeared. But now he gets fever almost twice a day.

One time around 9 to 10 am and other between 5 to 7 pm. Each time I have to give paracetamol.

He has also developed weakness. He already has trouble in walking which is further affected by this weakness.

I have heard that some senior citizens have suffered this for more than 20 days.

Is there any homeopathy medicine for this?

Is he using any blood thinner medicines has High Blood pressure ? Though i am not doctor, this has happened to some one. Yu can try Kali mur 6x 5 times a day for 3 tablets each dose. Please give feedback.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, he has high blood pressure and Parkinson but I am not aware if any of the medicines are blood thinners. I can list the name of medicines.

Should I continue with Kali Mur?

With respect to your father’s age covaxin should have been your first choice rather than covishield for the former has inactivated virus and less likely to have strong reaction or side effects. Any one above age 60 should prefer less reactive ones.

Also Ferrum Phos 12x alternatively till fever subdues. Also tell if any pain, swelling or redness on body.

Ok, but if there are other elders one could use this choice.

Along with Ferr phos and Kali mur you could add in Arnica 200 for a few days and if fever still persists a suitable remedy needs to be used.
