COVID PNEUMONIA AND HYPOXIA -Part 2.PRECEDING HYPOXIA.

1. SAMBUCUS NIGRA-6C, 30C, 200C.
a.Acts especially on the respiratory organs. Dry coryza of infants, snuffles, Ådematous swellings. Profuse sweat accompanies many affections.
b. Chest oppressed with pressure in stomach, and nausea Hoarseness with tenacious mucus in larynx. Paroxysmal, suffocative cough, coming on about midnight, Loose choking cough.
c. Dry heat of skin during sleep. Bloated and swollen; general dropsy; profuse sweat on waking.
d. Worse, sleep, during rest, after eating fruit. Better, sitting up in bed, motion.
e.Fever.--Dry heat while sleeping. Dreads uncovering. Profuse sweat over entire body during waking hours. Dry, deep cough precedes the fever paroxysm.
f. Debilitating night-sweats.
2. AMMONIUM CARB.6C,30C.
a. Hoarseness. Cough every morning about three o'clock, with dyspnea, palpitation, burning in chest; worse ascending. Chest feels tired. Emphysema. Much oppression in breathing; worse after any effort, and entering warm room, or ascending even a few steps. Asthenic Pneumonia. Slow labored, stertorous breathing; bubbling sound. Winter catarrh, with slimy sputum and specks of blood. Pulmonary edema
b. Worse, evenings, from cold, wet weather, wet applications, washing, and during 3 to 4 am, during menses. Better, lying on painful side and on stomach; in dry weather.
3. JUSTICIA ADHATODA.Q, 6C, 30C
a. Highly efficacious medicine for acute catarrhal conditions of the respiratory tract (used in the beginning)
b. Dry cough from sternal region all over chest. Hoarseness, larynx painful. Paroxysmal cough, with suffocative obstruction of respiration. Cough with sneezing. Severe dyspnea with cough. Tightness across chest. Asthmatic attacks, cannot endure a close, warm room. Whooping-cough.
4. PHOSPHOROUS, 6C, 30C.
a. Heaviness of chest, as if weight were lying on it.
b. Cannot talk, the larynx is so painful; is dry, raw, rough, sore.
c. Phosphorus Cough: going from warm to cold air (rev. of Bryonia ); < from laughing, talking, reading, drinking, eating, lying on the left side ( Drosera, Stannum ).
d. Hard, dry, tight, racking cough. Congestion of lungs. Burning pains, heat and oppression of chest. .
e. Tightness across chest; great weight on chest.
f. Nervous coughs provoked by strong odors, entrance of a stranger; worse in the presence of strangers; worse lying upon left side; in cold room.
g. Worse, lying on left or painful side.
5. NAT SULPH, 6X, 6C, 30C,
a. Must hold chest when coughing.
b. Rattling in chest, at 4 and 5 am
c. Cough, with thick ropy, greenish expectoration; chest feels all gone.
d. Constant desire to take deep, long breath.
e. Springs up in bed the cough hurts so; holds painful side (Bry). Pain through lower left chest.
f. Sycotic pneumonia; lower lobe of left lung; great soreness of chest, during cough, has to sit up in bed and hold the chest with both hands ([Nic.] – right lung, Bryonia ).
6. GRINDELIA ROBUSTA, 6C, 30C.
a. Asthmatic conditions, chronic bronchitis.
b. BronchorrhÅa with tough mucus, difficult to detach.
c. An efficacious remedy for wheezing and oppression in bronchitis patients.
d. Foamy mucus, very difficult to detach.
e. Stops breathing when falling asleep; wakes with a star, and gasps for breath. Must sit up to breathe. Cannot breathe when lying down.
7. RUMEX CRISPUS.6C, 30C.
a. Cough caused by an incessant tickling in the throat-pit, which tickling runs down to the bifurcation of the bronchial tubes.
b. Touching the throat-pit brings on the cough. Worse from the least cold air; so that all cough ceases by covering up all the body and head with the bedclothes
c. Dry, teasing cough, preventing sleep. Aggravated by pressure, talking, and especially by inspiring cool air and at night. Thin, watery, frothy expectoration by the mouthful: later, stringy and tough. Rawness of larynx and trachea. Soreness behind sternum, especially left side, in region of left shoulder. Raw pain under clavicle. Lump in throat.
8. BROMIUM, 6C, 30C.
a. Dry cough, with hoarseness and burning pain behind sternum.
b. Difficult and painful breathing.
c. Violent cramping of chest.
d. Cold sensation when inspiring. Every inspiration provokes cough.
e. Asthma; difficulty in getting air into lung (Chlorum, in expelling).
f. Bronchial tubes feel filled with smoke.
g. Sense of suffocation.
9. STANNUM MET, 6C, 30C.
a. Debility is very marked when Stannum is the remedy, especially the debility of chronic bronchial and pulmonary conditions.
b. Talking causes a very weak feeling in the throat and chest.
c. Much adhesive mucus, difficult to detach; efforts to detach cause nausea. Throat dry and stings.
d. Hoarse; mucus expelled by forcible cough. Violent, dry cough in evening until midnight. Cough excited by laughing, singing, talking; worse lying on right side. During day, with copious green, sweetish, expectoration. Chest feels sore. Chest feels weak; can hardly talk.
e. Respiration short, oppressive; stitches in left side when breathing and lying on same side.
f. Worse, using voice (i.e, laughing, talking, singing), lying on right side, warm drinks. Better, coughing or expectorating, hard pressure.
10. KALI CARB, 6C, 30C.
a. Sensitive to every atmospheric change, and intolerance of cold weather.
b. Early morning aggravation is very characteristic.
c. -Nose stuffs up in warm room. Thick, fluent, yellow discharge. Post-nasal dropping (Spigel). Sore, scurfy nostrils; bloody nasal mucus. Crusty nasal openings. Nosebleed on washing face in morning. Ulcerated nostrils.
d. Cutting pain in chest; worse lying on right side.
Dry, hard cough about 3 am, with stitching pains and dryness of pharynx.
e. Bronchitis, whole chest is very sensitive.
f. Aggravated right lower chest and lying on painful side.
g. Leaning forward relieves chest symptoms. Expectoration must be swallowed; cheesy taste; copious, offensive, lump.
h. Coldness of chest. Wheezing.
