Why is sulfur so broadly successful?

Sulfur 200c is the only remedy that has worked on me. The rest have failed.

But, sulfur is not my constitutional because it really only helped a few issues i was having. Not the totality.

Also I read Hahnemann would prescribe all his patience this remedy first, as it was the best remedy to "clear the slate"

also suggesting, that Sulphur acts as a antidote, or "cleanser" to previous drugs, including homeopathy.

what are your thoughts, and why is sulfur so widely beneficial?
