Whether overdosing of higher potency medicine can be life threatening?
Around 3-4 yeare ago, my Uncle was diagnosed with right kidney stone of 4 mm size, thick bladder wall, and Cystitis problems. He took following medicines for over three months after consulting a Homeopathic Practitioner.1. Cantharis Mother Tincture on daily basis
2. Ocimum Canum Mother Tincture on daily basis
3. Lycopodium Clavatum 1M (10 to 12 drops on weekly basis)
The Lycopodium Clavatum 1M was repeatedly given to him for around six months on weekly basis.
Once kidney stone got removed, He suffered from various other problems like Chikengunya, Rheumatoid Arthritis of finger joints, Hearing loss, mental tension and sleep disorder, red/brownish eyes, and itching over eyelids, seasonal allergy (perhaps Allergic Rhinitis), teeth ache, etc and during last 3 years he remained under homeopathic treatment for cure of these ailments. Further, he was given Arsenic Album 30 CH for tobacco addiction, for around 45 days.
Beginning October 2020, he started facing health problems like burning sensation while urination, dribbling of urine, incontinence of urine, etc. His Ultra Sound and M.R.I. reports showed enlarged Prostate and fatty liver (grade I). Initially, he took homeopathic treatment, but could not get total relief. In February this year, the Prostate Biopsy report declared him as a Prostate-C_a_n_c_e_r-Stage-III patient. Now, nearing the age of 71 years, he is taking allopathic Anti-C_a_n_c_e_r treatment for last five month.
I have come to know that overdosing of any homeopathic medicine of 200 CH or higher potency can cause unpredictable and life threatening problems like the one my Uncle is now facing with. I want to know, whether overdosing of Lycopodium Clavatum 1M (10-12 drops on weekly basis for around 25 weeks, 3-4 yeare ago) could have been the reason behind his subsequent health issues including Prostate C_a_n_c_e_r?

Lycopodium is a very deep acting medicine.It's dose is to be given very carefully in higher potencies.In the above case of your uncle Lycopodium has been repeated too frequently and for a very long time. It can be assumed that it has produced a condition in the body which led to the growth of prostate ca. Medicines cure diseases when given in proper doses.
I used Lycopodium for your husband and you know how many doses were given.Hope he is fine now and you too .

I doubt that these remedies have caused this condition though the frequency potency and the doses are all on too high side

Homeopathic remedies are considered to be well tolerated, although allergic reactions (like rashes) have been reported. Some people also find their symptoms become worse at the start of treatment. Interactions with other drugs haven't been well studied, although they're unlikely given the high dilution of the remedies.

Things have to happen logically

If anyone has a doubt then first to get affected would be mind and he should have developed those the abdominal ears eyes everything should have also have the condition of malignancy
If he has it is Lycopodium if only prostate Luxo is not the culprit

If he has developed something in the prostate due to lycopodium
Then the other organs like eyes ears wherever the effect of the remedy take place shud have also been affected badly in a similar manner like the prostate

After watching the video, I searched the web and found that mentioned book was in public domain. I have attached screenshot of the mentioned paragraph and request all of you to share your valuable opinions about the same in context of mentioned overdosage.

many remedies he is an MD and for him nothing less than CM TDS SOS
One ml which is 20 drops
Unfortunately not able to get in touch with him

I have been informed that he is taking homeopathic Anti-C_a_n_c_e_r treatment as well, for last over two weeks, besides allopathic treatment which started over five months ago.
To my view, the Homeopathy practitioners are not easy to understand. Many practitioners advocate use of low potency medicines in almost all cases, while others like to practice with high potency drugs only. So, it is difficult for me or anyone else, to know which homeopathic doctor has good command over remedy selection, potency selection, and duration of action.
As far as, the Prasanta Banerji Homeopathic Research Foundation (PBHRF) is concerned, their team of senior doctors appear too busy dealing with large number of C_a_n_c_e_r patients on daily basis. Although, I have not tried, but I sincerely believe that they would not have enough time researching on this particular subject, and clear my doubts.
Well, I thank all the participants for sharing their opinions.
Please let me know which are the best books to learn fundamentals of Homeopathy which may be enough for a person with non-medical science background like me. I wish to get minimum required knowledge of this field, so as to avoid any medical emergency situation.

Regarding boenninghausen’s lesser writings, the smallness of dose or the minuteness does or the large dose of medicine means undiluted original materials, such as using mercury which was widely used for treating syphilis back in those days. So the smallness of dose is not about how many times you take a remedy.
Also, I would like to add one thing. Homeopathic medicines are highly diluted meaning no original material in there ) so it's impossible to create a new pathology!
Pick one remedy and read it first from T.F Allen’s the encyclopedia of pure materia medica ( you can find it online)after that read the same remedy from Hering’ the guiding symptoms of our materia medical and see the difference. Allen’s materia medica consists of the symptoms ONLY from the proving (experiment)
On the other hand, hering’s materia medica consists mostly from clinically proven symptoms ( he gathered information from many other homeopaths using this remedy and that remedy in their practice, and they found this remedy worked for this pathology so he put in his materia medica )
And no proving (experiment ) was carried out to the extreme such as causing you to have C or other pathology. It would be unethical and no one would want to participate in such an experiment.
The problem I found is that if you don't know how materia medica is constructed and where all those symptoms ended up in the materia medica you get confused or scared of homeopathy. And I know many homeopaths make us scared saying things like if you takes a many remedies, you make yourself incurable but it's not true so please educate yourself and arm yourself with knowledge.

I have read a case where a child was given 200 1M and 10 M potency of the same remedy on three consecutive mornings and the child was cured in three days
Potency has to do with chronic symptoms and aggravation of the symptoms
30 potency will in most case aggravate the symptoms initially
200 potency very rarely aggravates
Homeopathy is scientific and equally an art
Remedy in all potencies acts in the same manner only on the symptoms as described in the Materia Medica
All this is from personal experience so not contest with anyone
After Dr Prashanta Bannerjee died the foundation has changed a lot so getting help online has been a strict no I tried thru certain people the response was come to Calcutta
Buy Hpmpath firefly software it has 200+ books and a very reasonably priced software if you are keen to learn

It is easier to get a list of homeopathic books with a web search. However, getting list of good books targeted at beginners from experienced practitioners is better than reading any homeopathy book freely available over the web. I would request you to recommend any introductory book explaining topics like how a patient's symptoms are analysed, how a remedy is selected, how its potency is determined, how long a particular remedy is allowed to act, etc.
I love to read good articles and books in my spare time and interested in knowing homeopathy at its conceptual level.

I know you are not asking me the question, but as a lay person who uses homeopathy daily, I would like to recommend the book “ The complete homeopathy handbook” by Miranda Castro. It's a great beginners ( also for practitioners) book that covers the answers to your questions.
And I would not suggest you read Allen’s or Hering or Boerick materia medica as the books are for professional homeopaths but it will make more sense to read this kind of books as you gain more knowledge.
