The ABC Homeopathy Forum

hashimotos and sjorgens syndrome

I am a newcomer to the forum as I have been trying to learn all I can about homeopathy. I come from a background of using herbals for a lot of conditions and have learned to tincture using specific formulas and use a lot of tea infusions as well. But my conditions are chronic in nature and I am hoping that homeopathy might be the answer. I was diagnosed with hashimotos at 48 and have been on thyroid medication since that time. I have also suffered from dry eye and dry mouth for several years but they were manageable. I think I may be tipping over into true sjorgens syndrome now as I have been having some elevated eosinophil counts for the past few months and the dry eye condition is becoming much more severe. I am now 70 years old

I am not one to use a lot of western pharmaceuticals and have actually rejected many of my doctors recommendations to take statins, hormone replacement or osteoporosis drugs. My dexa scans say I have osteoporosis but I have been 5'5" all my life and I load 50 lbs of feed on a regular basis and dig fence posts and wheelbarrow out heavy loads of barn clean out and wrestle with my two 150 lb dairy goats everyday as well as garden a 50 x 50 ft garden spot all with hand tools. I should have fractured something so I don't think I have bad enough bone issues to take those meds. My only medication is 90 mg of NP thyroid. I do a lot of natural food supplements that I grow on my own such as turmeric, moringa, and make goat milk kefir

I know I need to be working with an experienced homeopathic practitioner but I do not know how to filter through to find one as I am just beginning to study and learn more about homeopathy.I have read the Banerji protocols book which was amazing and definitely pushed me into realizing that homeopathy is a true answer rather than many western pharmaceuticals misuse and over prescribing. I could write a book about my distrust. But in treating my chronic conditions I am not really confident of what order or how to treat myself until I have learned a whole lot more on orders of treatment.

Can someone give me guidance as to how I can find and select a knowledgeable practitioner for chronic conditions such as mine?

Thank you for this response! I should order the Apis Mel 200 in the tincture form correct? I have on hand the Apis Mel in a lower potency pill form but I am interpreting that I should order the higher potency Apis Mel pill also?

Sorry about the questions. I have already found out that I take remedies like Arnica 30 incorrectly as I have poured them into my hand rather than the cap. Also I have been taking Hylands bioplasma cell salts but have stopped them now as I think I need to do a whole lot more studying before I self treat without consulting a professional. There are lots of layers to homeopathy. I sincerely want to learn it well and pass knowledge of homeopathy on to my children for their future.
