Chronic sinus congestion no discharge - almost 3 monthsWithin the first few weeks of bringing home our first family puppy, I had serious brain fog which felt just like drowsiness. At the same time, my eyelids were super puffy making it difficult to apply eyeliner. I took goldenseal herb and that immediately cleared my head and took down the inflammation in my eyes.
But then, late one night I was hit with vertigo. And this persisted for about two days. I took extra iron supplementation, and this subsided.
Finally, I got swollen sinuses. At first, this was only from lying down; it would clear in the daytime. That was 2.5 months ago, and I'm still struggling from profound congestion. The congestion feels just like swollen membranes as there is no discharge at all and no catarrh.
This happened one other time, 8 years ago when we first moved into this new home. That congestion lasted a full three months and was prior to my introduction to homeopathy.
I've tried pyrogenium assuming early it was infection. I've tried pulsatilla and kali bichromium. I've taken high potency calc carbonica, all to no avail. I've used a homeopathic sinus spray containing kali bichrom and sabadilla and I take a homeopathic formulation called "liver cleanse" regularly.
I don't know what else to do. I'm trying hard to ward off the use of an over the counter decongestant which will serve to suppress the symptoms only for them to surface again someday.
Any help would be appreciated!
