I think it is trigeminal neuralgia. My doctor is unable to diagnose it and I am waiting for an ultrasound.
Age 49 yrs
worse from cold air or food
better from warmth
hypothyroid for 20 years, feel swelling/inflmation inside body
when cheek hurts then tongue and mouth are also affect (swelled and tongue is red and burning)
The pain is light all day and gets worse with cold air/food exposure
I am on pain killers and a medication for hypothryoid
For few days I took Mag Phos 6x and Ferrum Phos 6x and I was in pain all night. My body is sensitive to homeopathic remedies even though I used them while growing up.
I had this pain in my right cheek a few years ago and a homeopath gave me ferrum phos 6x once a week, the pain was gone in four months. Now it is back on the left cheek.
Please help.
