Chronic insomnia help


I have been suffering from chronic insomnia for over 10 years. I've been prescribed by my former homeopathy doc. natrium muriaticum c200 for over a year and it usually has helped me. But since I've changed my job I have been going through alot of stress and been working longer hours than usual. My job is particularly stressful I must say (logistics) and I'm a rather sensitive person. These Globulis are not working anymore despite upping the dosage to lm6. I am now working in this company for just over a year and even though I'm used to my job and environment now, I still suffer from insomnia.

I either can't fall asleep or keep waking up at 2-3 am. It's a vicious cycle. Takes about 3 sleepless night in order for me to fall asleep due to extreme sleepiness but then sleep quality is still poor.

My sleep improves when I'm on holiday and not having to work. Then 2 weeks back to work my insomnia starts again. I can't afford changing my job.

Been doing meditation, regular exercise and healthy eating.
Following Globulis I tried with my doc that didn't help.

Phosphorus, arsenicum album, sulfur, sepia. Nothing works.

My doc unfortunately also retired and I'm desperate.

Can anyone help me? Much appreciated

How long does it take you to fall asleep on those troublesome nights
What are your thoughts once you do not fall asleep )
Any dreams if so are those reoccurring if so describe your dream

Once you wake up in the middle of the night what is that wakes you up any disturbance around you or you just wake up like waking up after a full sleep

How long do you take to fall asleep after waking up in the middle of the night

Any other health issues

Have your last meal atleast 90 minutes before going to bed
Have a glass of milk with extra sugar if u are not a diabetic it helps falling asleep quickly

I have been keeping up with sleep hygiene, go to bed regular times and even tried cbti for a bit which helped for a week but then I felt back to my insomnia pattern.
Especially when I had a stressful day at work I keep thinking of things that happend at work, emails, speaking to colleagues etc. I can't shut off my brain and cant fall asleep. But when I do I keep waking up around 3 am in order to go to toilet then I can't fall back to sleep though I feel very sleepy. I have light sleep but keep thinking of work related things. My mind can't shut off....

I have no nightmares, I only dream when I have deeper sleep. I don't count light sleep as dreaming because I keep seeing work related stuff when I close my eyes.

Last night same things happen. I was very tired and sleepy but couldn't really fall into deep sleep because my mind was still active.

I tried deep breathing, meditation etc. Nothing works and of course milk doesn't either. Tried ashwagandha, l tryptophan etc. No help.

Maybe it's my personality and I can't cope with stress... I'm so desperate and not working is no option....

A few more things I would like to know
Do you wake up around 3 AM even if you are in deep sleep?
Do you exclusively wake up to pass urine as if the bladder pressure is high and you must pass urine or just because you wake up and pass urine hope the question is clear and think before you post the reply as the the treatment is different for both issues
If I have understood it right u are half asleep and half awake, am I right?
Are you taking any medication for sleep or any homeopathic remedies for this if so post dosage and since when are you taking these?
Hope no tension other than office stress ( Spend some time to think and recollect whatever you want to about an hour before going to bed ) you will find this helpful

When I fall asleep around 11pm or 12am i kept waking up around 2 or 3 am to go to toilet. I don't have to pass alot of urine and it is not a big pressure, I just think it's because I am not sleeping deep and long enough. There are times when I sleep really well without getting up to urinate or only once and I immediately fall back to sleep.
I think I'm just sensitive to work stimulation and stress. I keep thinking of colleagues, dialogue we had, emails I read etc. I do have pressure and problems as well but not all the time.
I did keep thought diary were I wrote everything down that was on my mind.... But still didn't help me sleep.
I used to take natrium muriaticum c200 about 4 Globulis once then I slept well for about 1-2 months then have taken them again whenever my sleep was bad. It worked for a year but since I changed job it stopped working so I'm not taking it anymore.
Yesterday I took nux vomica c30 for the first time after doing some research but so far no affect. Not even sure if it is the right Globuli.

Nux Vomica is a good selection but potency is not right
Try Nux Vomica 30 as of now since you have started it
2-3 drops or 03 pellets thrice a day for three days
If it is right one you shud either feel better of a bit worse both are indicators of the right selection
Take Nux Vomica 30 last dose just before going to bed

If you do not feel either after two days
Switch to Nux Vomica 200 just before going to bed 04 pills or 05 drops in water
Post as and when you feel changes

Dear Kaps

How many days does it take for me to notice any difference?

So far my sleep hasn't changed. Couldn't fall asleep last night again. How long do you think I should wait until I move on to something else?

How long do I need to wait to see any improvement before I move on to something else?

Can homeopathy work at all? Or am I genetically disposed to not be able to handle stress and stimulation which affects my sleep?

Any other advise?

Post after that whether u fall asleep or not

Can I ask why would u recommend this Globuli? According to my Google research it is more for asthma, muscle ache... Nothing written for chronic insomnia.

It has a large no of symptoms and one of those is the half awake half asleep which you have when you try to sleep
And some other symptoms which you mentioned
It is either globules or liquid drops whatever you can get at your place
