Toddler can’t hear! Ear help, bad sleep

I have an almost 2 year old son who has otitis media with effusion (aka glue ear, fluid in middle ear) causing significant hearing loss. It’s as if he is hearing under water ENT doctor says. Doctor wants to put ear tubes through surgery to keep this from happening. He is mildly speech delayed due to the compromised hearing. We also believe the fluid in the middle ear is causing some balance issues.
Some other significant issues that he has is that he does not sleep well. He wakes numerous times throughout the night to breastfeed and wakes VERY early in the morning between 4:30-5:30am. Then gets super fussy/whiney and irritable mid morning. He sometimes snores.
He is very attached to me(his mother) and is difficult to get him to wean from breastfeeding. He can be pretty temperamental and clingy, moody, and irritable, but is also pretty easy going, happy, brave and independent when he’s not overly tired or uncomfortable.
Another major issue is that he has is constipation sometimes only passing a stool every 2-3+ days. He can have bouts of being gassy. He has a bloated belly. His poop is usually soft even though he hasn’t pooped in days, and sometimes has undigested food in it. He is ‘sometimes’ a picky eater, wanting to eat sweet and savory foods and still prefers to breastfeed a lot. He has light/fair olive skin tone, blue eyes, light brown hair. He loves to climb and be quite active, but also plays calmly. He can be super sweet, and is VERY quiet and shy around new people. He acts very open once he gets to know someone or gets used to them. He has days where he is very whiney/moody and doesn’t want to play and just wants me to nurse him and hold him. I believe this is because he’s overly tired? Because it comes and goes.
I really appreciate any help. Feel free to ask additional questions if you need.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Is it in both the ears
Does he do anything that shows pain or irritation in the ears
Any discharge from the ears
Does he sleep with eyes partially closed

In both ears, but it started with the left one. Hearing tests show that left ear hearing is worse. But now right ear has fluid and hearing loss as well.
As for pain/irritation he does sometimes pull on his ears and pushes his ear down on his shoulder.
No, I have not noticed if he sleeps with his eyes only partially closed.

Can I use 30c? I can order 6x, but I live on a remote island in Alaska and it can take a couple weeks to receive. Thanks much

Try a single dose of 30C and post symptoms

Okay will do and will reply with an update. May I ask. Is this ok even if it doesn’t fit his “constitution” description when I read about Silicea? Again, our biggest issue is the otitis media with effusion and sleep problems. Thanks much, appreciate it.

It is very difficult to get to a constitutional remedy
Just try silicea single dose and post after about 2-3 days I am sure there will be some changes

Dear Kaps,

I just picked up Silicea 30c and will start treatment either tonight or tomorrow. Is this remedy compatible with Cina 200c? A different homeopath prescribed my 2 year old to take cina 200c- 1 dose only
1 time per week, for 3 weeks (so only 3 doses total). This doesn’t seem to be helping his Otitis media with effusion (glue ear, can’t hear well, etc) but is helping his other aliments. Is it fine to add what you suggested to our Cina. Silicea 30c only once?

Appreciate it greatly.
