8 yr old behavior & bowel movement problems
I have an 8 year old that is having numerous behavior problems in school this year. He did not have many issues in previous years. It seems that he began to have tantrums & get easily upset & angry after my father passed away in June 2004.1)He is very sensitive
2)Is always saying 'he can't'
3)Easily angered
4)Gets upset when is being corrected
5)Runs out of the classroom
6)Sometimes says he wants to die
7)He's now having more & more bowel movement accidents. Now saying he can't - its too hard. He had times where he was doing better with this...and now he is just not going at all at school & soiling his clothes.
My thoughts are that he needs anger management & I have suggested he asks for time to calm down. But of course he is 8 and will not learn overnight.
Are there any remedies???
Thanks!

Thank you for responding.
I am the child's mother. I divorced when he was 2 1/2 yrs. My parents helped take care of him while I attended night school & Saturday classes (I work fulltime & was getting my BBA - completed 5/03). My father passed June 04 and my son's father has never had much interest in being in his life. Average visits 5/year.
So my father is the only father figure my son had.
Initial response - this was his first exposure to death...did not know what that meant. He occasionally would begin crying & saying that he missed him & wanted him back. He worries about him - where he is & if he is ok? He actually saw my father's body & even touched him...not sure if this was a good idea or not.
My father had a strong character & helped me discipline my son - his strong voice.
No serious illnesses other than the common cold, etc. Has been pretty healthy. Does over-eat, is a little overwieght.

sorry - forgot to ask will the natrum muriaticum 200c help with both the behavior & bowel movement problems?
Not sure if his bowel movement issue is considered an illness - but it has gotten worse this school-year.
thanks again for your help!

Hi J. Stanton,
Thanks for responding to my post.
I would say the first noticable (extreme) anger was when he turned 7 yrs - towards the end of the school year when he was in 1st grade. He is now at the end of 2nd grade. He began running out of the classroom - as to get away from the problem or from whomever was correcting his behavior, etc. Although I had hardly ever heard him curse (use bad language) when he explodes at school I was told he uses it. He has walked out of his classroom - put chairs up against the outside of the door so they (the teacher) can't come after him. Has said he will hurt himself or others (has never done this unless someone is blocking his escape or restraining him).
He has very low self-confidence & self-esteem, it is always 'I can't' or I'm dumb or you don't love me, etc.
At night I put him to bed but in the middle of the night he ALWAYS ends up in my bed. Says he is scared.
I've asked him why he is soiling his clothes & he says it is just to hard to go to the toilet. I don't know if its because he is a little overwieght & he just can't reach & clean correctly.
I have involved him in martial arts & cub scouts so that he can develop his social skills but am still very concerned that we can not seem to get his extreme reactions & sensitivity to EVERYTHING under control.
I need any help you can offer & hope that this can be controlled & cured!
How long should I give him the 2 pellets of natrum muriaticum 200c? When is the best time morning or bedtime?
Thanks again!
