(Dr.Anuj) F/10yo cough and cold
Child (female) 10yo starting having runny nose, sneezing, some coughing, throat irritation and slight feverish feeling some 3 days back. Feverish feeling is gone, throat irritation is better but coughing is there. Nose seems to get blocked with thick mucous, dry coughing is there, and cold air exposure seems to aggravate sneezing. What is to be done ?falcon74 on 2022-07-08

Chest is also somewhat congested but not heavily, so one doesn't hear the congested chest sound with every breath, but when she does cough the sound is that of congested chest. The nasal discharge today is not the free flowing kind (it was so until yesterday morning).

Anuj sir, got delayed in reporting back. Child had some 50% improvement after 2 days with the medication, but on 4th day she played for sometime in rain in school and came back home with damp clothes, and coughing had increased again. The cough now has bit more of the hollow ringing sound indicating bit more congestion in chest. Other than that she has a little runny nose (not a whole lot), no fever and is generally active. In the last 2 days, we became bit irregular with might have given her Kali Sulph 6x and Pulsatilla 30 only 2 times or so. Kindly suggest further course of action. Trying to give her steam twice a day.
