High blood pressure during day after broken boneI'm 58 years old. Have never had hypertension. Broke my left fibula by the ankle and sprained my ankle. Was off my feet for 6 weeks. In the interim, I have developed high blood pressure mostly during the day. Upon arising, my BP was 117/77. During the day it rises to 157/91 while I'm resting. I'm assuming this is from being sedentary for so long. What remedies are called for to normalize my blood pressure while I build up my stamina?
